SCoutS,
I read it slightly different and that its just a formality before they pass permits
'As a further and final stage of the permitting process, in accordance with industry practices, NCDAQ has requested a public information meeting to be held prior to issuance of the Permit.'
Do you believe it will get knocked back at the meeting when there are plenty of wood pellet plants already in NC - plus the chance of more jobs in the area for the locals!
Have a look this company - portfolio of many plants but 3 are based in NC!

Check out the US stock - EVA! - its only a $1.3billion company and increased its dividend recently!
The AEG story is getting better in my view and they are in a far better shape than 2 to 3 years ago (apart from the share price and trust issues!)
Yes, they still have debt, but they also have assets
Market cap Β£7m
H2 is the first time they have generated income from rent, JV's and licence fee
Plant purchased (not rented) in the right area at a good price
JV with power plant next door
JV (with 2nd shift starting soon) plus rent income x 2
5 tph Plant - assuming now paid for with monies raised
Licence with RMD - with one off payment plus possible income to follow maybe in a few years
Feedstock agreements in place
Newfoundland forestry agreement - I'm not sure if this is good or bad though!
Government Grant awarded $500k with hopefully more to come
Poland on hold
Re the delays and timings on the plant - very very frustrating but I see that it was first delayed when they had the opportunity to actually purchase the plant site - and they had to start again re timings around the raising the CLN finance
At least with the recent placings they have been buying assets with the some of the cash!
I might have called this wrong but I am going to give AEG a little more time as they are so close now - they are a very small fish in a very large pond trying to break into a massive market with an unique offer.
Things will go wrong or will be delayed from time to time as in any businesses large or small so
I will be watching events unfold whilst trying to stay as positive with my half glass full attitude
Keeping a close eye on the CLN's and if converted ( yes there is dilution but also reduction in loans and no or reduced interest to pay
Bitter sweet, I guess but assuming if the CLN's are converted the share price will need to be in excess of 1p per share, so double from here!
Anyway only my opinion for what its worth!
Good Luck All
