Watching on the sidelines, Whats peoples thoughts on the upcoming market update for shell?? Its just came on My radar and not quite sure what direction its going in so many conflicting views. My dad worked for shell so always been keen on them but understand we are really in unchartered waters right now and so many conflicting reports. They still making money through there trading devision but the debt it the same as the market capital as we speak, is this normal or poor??

Its a disaster Antigua they have been Shafter by the creditors and have allowed them to do it. If they didn't announce the rights issue the share price would be at least double, then we see the new company how do you value your shares when you don't now the value of the company your merging with. PMO have been causing share price destruction for to long I would like to know what the Institutional shareholders think as they hold 60% and will ultimately be the ones who decide wether the deal goes ahead or not.

WE NEED TO VOTE AGAINST THIS TRANSACTION, we have been shafted by extremely poor decisions made by PMO. we need to stand together and vote no to the deal now.

PERSONALLY I will be voting against the deal this is a good company for anyone investing now, BUT for longterm holders we have to vote no to the deal!!
