Thanks NSS22 That would be nice longer term nut I guess we will just have to wait and see how things go, I guess the American politics will play a big part, Trump wins Shale stays and Iran stays under sanction, Biden wins Shale suffers and Iran comes back online, its hard to figure whats best. Next year POO is forecast to average $47 a barrel (I know shell are mostly gas) but at this price are shell out the woods??

I m new here just trying to learn as much as I can bout shells current situation. I see potential but also see risk. I always try to predict the price of oil for the forthcoming week, this week Norway have stopped there strict, the rig workers are returning after Hurricane Delta and the troubles in Armenia-Azerbaijan Putin has stepped in getting them to cease-fire. I suppose Trump will causing his usual volatility in the markets with Stimulus talks. Often wrong, but would take a guess at the markets going down, its the law of odds one day I will eventually get it right............. Whats your opinion of shell SP both short and long term NeversellShell your have obviously been following them a lot longer than I have, like to hear others thoughts!!

Boyo I agree but when you make 4 posts trying to learn and she's/IT'S attacking you straight away and others, dose not matter what gender they say they are there of no use constructively to anyone other than there own ego.

I see good helpful posters replying to Emma, Got her on filter now but comes across as a fat heffa with a high opinion of her own opinion........... everyone else thinks she's a ******!!!

Boyo I know mate I always make my own decisions ultimate but like to hear others opinions, opposing views are fine but often hard to separate the constructive criticism to the irritating derampers unless you have been around certain rooms for a long period of time. Thanks Boyo, nobody on here seems to think about this getting back to 24-26 pounds why is this in your opinion purely down to the transition to green energy r due to lower production numbers?? Read through the night its all about profitable barrels of oil now rather than then amount of barrels of oil, do you think this will be off-putting to investors?? Surely profit is profit no matter how you look at it!! Also Do you think the increased leverage here now is due to trying to increase profit and investing more to achieve this??

Would others agree that this will follow the price of oil up today and tomorrow due to the hurricane in the gulf knocking off some production and then will probably drop a little next week once things settle down a bit?

Are shell wanting to grow there Oil and gas production?? Or are they wanting to taper it down to invest in Carbon free energy theres so many conflicting reports, not sure what they want to do going forwards reduce or increase??

Gymking I know I was told no way would debt for equity be an option, last week was told they were hoping to have creditors locked up by the end of last week. Its a ****take, they could of still went down the BP asset route but thought this option had more chance of execution......... So to me that have taken the easy option. Constant contradictions last wee be assets were excellent this week there not great....... I really thought the management here were better than this extremely disappointed and never thought I d say this but the constant contradictions ad u turns have sickened everyone, really hope Chrysler do not get there hands on this at the cost of the patient long term holders......

Would hate to think shell had run its cause as has has been a big part of my life indirectly, had a good upbringing due to my dad working for them, but nothing lasts for ever. I would like to think they can get things back on track, there a low cost producer but such a massive complex company thats it isn't easy to determine there future. Thanks again :)

Gymking I spoke to investor relations yesterday before the market opened and they said the value was 15-20p best they could work out given they could not put a value on Chrysler, don't know where 25p is coming from. Im sickened by they lies and U turns that have happened to a company I put trust in. I would rather burn my shares than give it to Chrysler for nothing as thats what there getting them for.

vote NO!!!!!!! Its a disgrace what has happened to such a promising company, would rather walk away with nothing than give these shares to cryslor for pennies, not to mention letting ARCM get away with blatant corporate corruption. If we all vote no they will have to offer a better deal otherwise **** em. Chrysolr need us for out shinny new assets and exploration opportunitys which are first class. There assets are old and many decommissioning liabilities looming, they NEED new assets and exploration facilities lets not give it to them for free..........

Thank you kindly Boybach thanks for explaining this to me as was not aware. Pokerchipps was also kindly helpful info wise for a newbie like me. I worry that they won't be able to turn the ship around and they focus is turning away from oil and gas to much as to me this is where the healthy profits are coming from, though if there still trying to increase there production this can only be a good thing. I suppose its such a large ship to turn around and with the current world catastrophe of covid anyone will be suffering. It was a concern to me though that there debt is equal to market capital, I m not sure if this is normal but would like to know what other E&P companies ratios are the same. It is good you say they are still trying to improve production as didn't think this was the case!!
