I see your point about the weak dollar will be interesting to see how things go I m not sure if even Trump wins the dollar will improve, BUT like you say it would make sense that stimulus will come at some point (still understand why it hasn't already as would think Trump would be giving it to boost election support).
Stupidly I wasn't really thinking bout the weakening dollar but as you say its inevitable with the stimulus.
I see green energy Capex is only 5% of spending this year but I would expect that would be increased until FCF improves greatly. Thanks for your response got a lot out of it :) Could I ask are you long or trading??

Boyo I would say your right just so much doom printed of late its starting to put doubt in my mind. However thats always the case, I wish you luck in your investments. Brexit, US Elections, Covid so many major influences going on ATM, Think Boris is doing a great job but don't know how he manages to juggle everything its impressive!! Boyo ok mate but if oil stays around $50 then RDSB is goosed, I find it hard to understand whats happening theres so many conflicting opinions, but seems to be more of late lowering there forecasts of oil demand and price. I guess time will tell.... Good luck mate :)

Thats a very Damming opinion of Shell........ Makes you think are they cheap at todays prices. One minuet I think they are then the next I think don't touch them.

It could go either way but COULD see how Brent could get down to $36 again over coming month with all this extra oil coming on the market, if Biden gets in and Iran sanctions lifted immediately then almost a certainty...

NSS22 I think Total are the oil company who have invested most into green energy, but for me with green energy theres major issue which is it is not as profitable as oil and gas and I don't think it ever will be!! I read the other week a lot of oil and gas companys have to bang the green energy drum and have in the past but in reality there still heavily focussed into oil and gas and putting a small percentage of there profits into green energy development. The article was actually about shell, and I hope there still right, I mean they have 20-30 years before they have to make a serious chunk of there money out of Green energy....
