RE: A little ramping in the night...๐ข21 Jun 2023 07:05
Morning
Top post Keith...thanks
I would point out that ...
WERE a forward sales type deal be written...
I am not saying it would...
might it be at a discounted price per MCF?
I am keeping very quiet about this ...some have noticed my reticence
I have only alluded to it quite cryptically so far..as frankly there is no upside in me shouting at this stage...quite to the contrary
But...
I would be surprised if such a deal had not been done before in Morocco
And I would be further surprised if that % discount rate might have been other than modest...
Obviously the discount rate math is simple... price/term/volume...the greater the certain volume, the smaller the % discount
We tend to gloss over the fact that economical supply of power is the absolute sine qua non for industry
Morocco is fiercely competitive and it wants to muscle in to lucrative European... and indeed global ...markets
For that it needs real competitive advantage to supercharge its industry
PG has referred several times to acting responsibly in setting pricing
He and Lonny have a total grasp of this point...
I am convinced...absolutely totally convinced
that if we can get two producer wells...
and thus redundancy of supply...
PRD will provide that competitive advantage to Moroccan industry...no ifs... not buts... nor maybes
And this share could perform as none here have ever seen before
It's not hyperbole...
Simply the most extraordinary confluence of events I have experienced in my investing career...save only when I formed my own investment bank and it took off
Morocco possesses a uniqueness of attraction...fiscally, socially, structurally etc...we all know that ...it is often mentioned on the BB
So...quick question
Suppose you were an e&p investor wishing to benefit from those attractions
Right now...you have a choice...
but frankly it's pretty stark
You have alluded to it in part
But...
Please tell me...
1...How can sdx fulfil contracts of size from their puddles?
How to provide comfort to their customers?
2...How can SOU equity holders make real money ...given the debt structures?
Never mind relative scale of assets!!!
((I know quite a bit more detail about their assets than I have mentioned here...some are aware of that))
3...How can CHAR equity holders retain decent upside given the mountain of funding needed for Anchois...when compared with current m/cap?
I am here for a reason๐๐๐
Risks remain of course
Regards
