Katherine Roe, CEO at Wentworth Resources talks through the Ruvuma gas development in Tanzania. Watch the full video here.
Thanks
of course
I wondered if it was Brian Mitchener (who I quite like )
Yes, the Hoste is nothing like it used to be ...
we only go there for a pint sitting outside ...as its at the end of our lane...short stroll with the dogs
The Jolly Sailors ?
I still like it...easy for meals with Grandchildren
The Lifeboat Inn seems back on form again ...
after the daft interlude when some famous chef bought it and served up rubbish (imo of course)
Sorry as OT may offend those who want to be offended

Morning
Some folk don't seem to understand that... if an opinion is expressed... it's better if it has bona fides behind it
IE some folk express views about markets
but have no idea what they talk about...
When I express views re markets, I try to set out relevant experience...IE MD in my thirties etc
Sorry if it offends
but some readers are new
And I consider it important to differentiate fact from mere drivel concocted by a random person with a keyboard
I am a bit anal retentive ...strength and weakness...
and that sometimes slips to irritation that others don't do enough homework etc...
So... when folk ...working to an agenda...
could not fault the facts I post...
they have chosen to criticise my linguistic style or quoting of relevant experience
Risible in the extreme
The Groucho Marx joke was supposed to be self deprecating
But even that received an ill considered response
Thankfully, those actually running PRD are of a much higher level

I don't know why anyone would conclude that from the trade information as published
At the risk of further offending some here of a sensitive disposition...
I would mention that I have previously briefly covered the way a market can be 'operated'...
including such seemingly arcane delights as dealing off the back of the book, front running, spoofing and how ladders and matching both work
Whilst I am no longer a practitioner...
in my thirties I was MD at the
world's second biggest inter dealer broker
But again , I appreciate that there are possibly those on here with more up to date experience
Sorry to a few on here if my posts have deployed words of more than one syllable

Kasjohn...
very good point...thanks
although I think a hostile bid would be unlikely ...
given the equity held by management and large holders
One of the VITAL things in deal crafting is that each party has to be happy that it is THEY who have done a good deal
One of the important elements to achieving that objective is that 'wriggle room' as to asset /business value has to be available
one only has to read the CPR to understand my point!!!!!!
I do not claim great experience in deal crafting
(my Twitter feed spells it out ...although the numbers there need to be adjusted quite a lot for inflation)
and feel sure that there are others on here with more relevant skills
I would love to hear from them as I am sure there are points I have not considered
As to pressure communication/lithology /time...
Yes...
I agree with Carj that it is seemingly unlikely
Zebra...
I did not buy my bulk shares at 1.75p
I bought them at 1.5p...
good seven figures
I posted about it at the time...and was shouted down by several on here
As to the social aspect/people objecting to my use of language etc
I have tried at considerable personal time cost to inform folk...and enter into discussion
I have done that as I really do believe this is a terrific opportunity...a rarity in the sector
but frankly it is rare that I learn anything from this BB...
there are posters here that help my thought process
Overall
I have neither need nor wish at my age to defend ANYTHING
So if folk don't like my posts
save your own blood pressure and block me

Evening...
Redbox...my dear CHAP
How kind of you to bother to write...
I am flattered by your post
Whilst considering how I might best help you, I did read through several of your own posts...searching for your words of considerable wisdom
I regret to say that your posts comprise a veritable lexicon of negativity...
There appear few negative adjectives that you choose not to deploy
On such basis, it is surprising that you choose to invest in PRD ...given your views
It would be good were you to spell out your posts of which you feel most proud
You know the sort of thing...
In advance ...correct ...multiple forecasts
Technical observations that have also been proven wholly correct
Mathematical calculations that are clearly 'on the money'
You might also feel happier allowing folk here to know your name, address etc
Post away dear CHAP
I can wait

Re the discussion about testing...running order
I hesitate to keep referring posters back to some of my earlier posts...
so I will merely mention that there has been considerable work carried out ...notably in USA...on simultaneous testing...when down dip and up dip wells are tested together
The summary is that ...doing so... can contribute to...enhance...overall flow rates and % abstraction
There is also the much more obvious factor...
IE being able to prove that wells ...certain strata...are in pressure communication
I am fortunate to have been party to discussions with a leading practitioner and exponent ... in USA and I want to publicly thank those involved...
as they might be reading
When I reference Leviathan, I do not do so lightly
Yes PRD (?) has to execute correctly and select the correct locations and strata...
but this really is big
Caveats:
All imo
I could be wrong this time
I am only a random old boy on an impersonal BB
My next post might well talk about flatcoats or cars...

Afternoon...
Following the recent CPR, PRD was able to declare that it possessed CONTINGENT RESOURCES
It takes a lot to move resources from 'prospective' up to 'contingent'
There are very many technical hurdles to be overcome
PRD achieved EXACTLY that
It made me a some of my chums sit up with a start!
BUT...
The market didn't notice
nor did many on here...
nor on Twitter
I venture to suggest that it might repay study (apologies re sucking eggs for some here!)
as to the milestone it represented
Folk might also want to consider what the next category might/will be :)
Thought I would just mention it!

Afternoon
As the Company has already informed shareholders re the process...
there is IMO no requirement to issue an RNS re 60 days having commenced
It is up to the Company to decide to issue or not ...
as appropriate
Hope it helps (!)

Afternoon
Folk are most welcome to read any ....all... of my posts...
I am consistent...
I own a lot of shares in PRD...by my standards
I post re technical matters and mathematical matters
I also try to inject humour re dogs...cars...etc...
my twitter feed is an open book...lots of photos etc
Again...read it or not...up to you
Could I be wrong?
Of course...
lithology and the markets are tough mistresses
I found it interesting that Mr Winnifrith and some acolytes seemingly appear on here
He has a most colourful entry on Wiki...worth a look
Risk what you can afford to lose
Do your own research X 100
Just my views...
I am a poster who most here will not meet
So yes...
treat my posts with the same caution you would apply to any other

Morocco is why I am here...
and HOW!
and I am not an expert on Irish politics
However...
I do think that the unprecedented / emergency action this weekend by the head of the German Greens
constitutes THE moment when the Green political rhetoric crashes up against the cold stark facts of energy shortfalls
My very underplayed tweet of last evening refers

That is correct...
It has been potentially enabled by the decision of PRD to drill MOU1
without farming it down beforehand
Thus retaining max field equity of 75% ...
Compared with ONHYM's ...carried currently ...25%
Those with good memories might recall an old boy posting on here...several times
asking PG to drill MOU1 before farming out
Funny thing that!
