it was cheap

it had stone...unheated ...stairs

it had lavatories...unheated ...on every stairwell

thus ..staff productivity in the Winter months was enhanced🥶🥶🥶

it had been the office of a firm called City Merchants

they had pinned mezuzahs in every doorway...

When I moved in...

my PA wanted to remove them

Of course... I left them firmly pinned in situ

I really want to emphasise...YET AGAIN...

that RISK remains...

it is irreducible risk...but it's still risk

it is just how it is ...

when trying to deal with mother nature

and her self organising systems

I use a variety of data points when trying to establish the likelihood of success or failure in any given share

I have done this for MANY decades…since way before I started investing in the E&P sector

When I started out in investing...

I used to send off for very many Company Reports and Accounts...

They were physical documents...some quite thick…there were a LOT of them

Our postman sometimes used to groan under the weight of them

I used to put them in piles on the floor...

I still do...I happen to prefer physical documents…maybe it is an old age thing!

I am in my study as I type

and I see more paper on the floor than carpet

The reports were then sorted into what I considered RELATIVE ATTRACTIVENESS ...

And various ‘filters’ applied …then more filters…

Some friends and I referred to the ‘funnel’ …stuff goes in the top

Down through various filters

Whilst very little gets out of the bottom…it is then as good as I can make it

I am really not keen on wasting time or money on no hopers …

And… in the E&P sector …there are many of those… IMO

I have seen things that would make your hair catch fire

So...yes...

I read avidly...

often at hours that my Wife and dogs regard as very odd...

I think they might be right…

its just that when I focus…

I do focus hard

I have been fortunate in various walks of life...

often perhaps more by luck than judgement...

Right place...right time…etc

I have refused to buy the shares of many companies

but have been very aggressive when I have made up my mind...

I was aggressive re buying PRD shares at 1.5p…

lots of folk shouted at me on line…said I was mad or similar

What I am trying to say is REALLY simple

It's your money...

it is YOU who carries the financial risk

So please...there are enormous bodies of work which have been referenced on this very BB

Please study them...

Do so until your eyes hurt...

Then come to YOUR own conclusions and act accordingly

Do so in accordance with your personal investment appetite...

Yes...rely on your guts in part...

My own risk appetite is very unusual...

Once a decently sized CNG delivery mechanism is uttered...the industrial market is very likely to expand...

the demand is very great indeed

But there will be a limit...as to how much gas that industrial market can take

which is why even bigger volumes will feed gas to power in Morocco

And I anticipate that even bigger volumes

will be fed into the GME pipeline...

which is immediately adjacent to our current activities...

At approx 5kms...that is a lot shorter than my thrice weekly run

THAT gas feed will go to Europe...

and most likely change the dynamics of supply...

very much for the benefit of ...

▶️European energy security

▶️The P&L account of whoever then owns the Guercif licences

I believe the associated 'fun and games' have already commenced

As you are doubtless aware…

I posted on this very BB a lengthy and detailed note in March 2021

That became known in some quarters as the MICHAEL CAINE post

It was based SOLELY on information issued by PRD within various RNSs

Despite a lot of encouragement …

nobody has yet been able to challenge the figures therein

Of course…since that time…the issued share capital has increased

And so have the assumptions also changed…

Subsequent drilling results and market conditions have delivered very great improvements in the nett figures

Would you like me to dig out Michael Caine ??

so that you may refresh your own memory

and indeed the memories of other posters on here

Come to think of it…

perhaps another kind poster might dig it out anew

and post it

while I toddle off to get on with the tractoring

re how much £££ you believe they require to bring Anchois to production

and how that might impact current holders of the equity

As it stands...it is hard for a simpleton like me

to see how the current holders of company equity

He reminds me very much of a chap

who again had very special expertise in the financial sector

HE was known as 'THE Orpington Bookmaker' as apparently, he was able to calculate changes in a 'book' like lightning...'best in the business' I was told

It was a most helpful meeting with THE ORP...

from which I learned much

which indirectly alerted me to very large opportunity

THE ORP had an uncanny talent ...

never before seen it performed ...in front of consenting adults...

he had an ability to read and understand

exactly what was on several pages of a paper deck presentation

despite not actually focusing on every second page or so

my esteemed colleague...ever the Optimist (see what I did there)

ploughed on regardless

We both came away from the meeting feeling VERY inadequate

It might well have affected me for life
