Well my geography (geology) doesn't extend much further than 'A' level, but don't some worked wells have a tendency to become replenished to some degree from the surrounding strata?

We'll see the ratio of driving talent to engineering competence when George Russell joins the team next season. As an AMG (All Money Gone) fancier, I want the team to do well today, but I suspect the real fun will start in a few months...

I look back less than fondly to, amongst other things, crops destroyed by weather, suppliers who default, shipping companies who damage cargoes, insurance underwriters who try to avoid settling, clients who complain, unpaid receivables, meetings with dreary accountants/bank managers, employees who take the *iss, telecoms companies who don't fix faults, commuting..... It's enough to make you want to spend the majority of your working day in a Go-Go bar, or failing that, jack it in and dabble in other peoples' misery.

All y'all should be thankful that you don't have to call-in the the RR or IAG board to check the wind direction. It's not even funny. You'd think all the PIs for those two companies were either kindergarten or 11+ failures, judging by the 'banter' and the level of competence in English. Literally unbearable at times.

Provided we can believe the scientific body, then the data do suggest a small warming, post the industrial revolution, but frankly, so what? I'm more than happy for the UK to return to a romanesque climate. Having lived in NY and Chicago I'm under no illusion as to how revolting heavy winter snowfall is to contend with. As for the additional CO2, another thumbs up. Any 'intensive cultivators' know the huge increase in green yield a CO2 supplement provides. Furthermore, I imagine in the long run it will be more economically sound to adjust to new climatic conditions on a local basis, as opposed to trying to turn back the clock. Sorry, not sorry...

I don't think the issue is whether it's November or December, rather, 'seasoned investors' like to be confident that their BoD is giving them accurate and current information.

Didn't we conclude that the delay is due to late hand-over from Jadestone? If that's the case. I guess there's not so much the BoD can do about it.

It certainly caught me by surprise today. However, with a little deeper analysis it seems there is concern over dividend cover at current margins and not faring so well in comparison to market peers. At 1725 is I was tempted to top-up in the dip, but as the weakness continued late into the afternoon session, I held off. Tomorrow morning will be interesting...

Maybe the BOD should approach Musk for a bit of funding...

No real idea on a specific SP, but it would seem likely that a successful spud will bring in considerable insider investment.

Seems a little odd to me, considering the scale of exposure including the cost of finance, that ADV aren't more precisely aware of the nature and extent of the delay with Jadestone - and conversely that Jadestone aren't subject to some form of penalty clause in the case of overruns. Maybe the oil bidness is more genteel than areas that I've been involved with over the years where not sticking to contractual obligation hits you in the bank account...
