Maybe Ukraine's campaign against Russia's oil infrastructure is becoming increasingly significant and OPEC's move will just stabilise the oil price as we move into winter.

Although both the USD and the GBP are both generally considered overvalued due to economic circumstances, with GBP relatively firm just now, physical becomes a bit more more attractive.

I think a lot of AIM holders have already adjusted their position in anticipation (I know I did..) so not expecting fireworks today, just quiet confidence. I've given the headsup to the Golden Prospect (GPM) board, where GGP is the fund's fourth largest holding. Maybe there will be some support from there.

Greatland Resources (GGP) our fourth largest holding has just been admitted to the ASX200. Very good news...

The Oak Bloke is quite irritating - but also useful. It's hard to criticise his depth of investigation, but why make it arduous to read with all the puns and related flowery prose? Also, and I stand to be corrected here, despite his probing analysis, does he actually call-out the winners on a regular basis? That said, having read his report, I'm going to continue to hold my stake in PRTC and may even add once we see a bit positive movement in the SP.

However, with respect to BARC, I don't have the details, but I imagine their tax burden would be mitigated by their overseas operations - and I guess that goes for Asia-looking HSBC as well.
