Like any successful innovation, scaling up to meet new demand is a major headache. I do wonder how many newly interested Ocado Solutions customers are negotiated then filed as pending contracts and put on a back burner. No business wants a firm contract that cannot be delivered in a reasonable time scale

As Clinigen are associated with Synairgen and its progress, they will have knowledge. So expect no Synairgen announcements of any import for 2 weeks.

Lots of hype again about a British vaccine. There is a huge scientific world out there and yet we mostly hear about a potential British success, especially as it has come from that great centre of learning, and I don't mean Luton. The Government won't mind as it gives hope, even false hope and thats part of their remit. An no statistician but if say 20% of us have caught Covid, knowingly or not, then surely any vaccine can be said to be protecting as many as 80%. Spin it may be but it will be the answer to opening us up again and finally relying on herd immunity - not vaccines.

They have not said. Mentioned in their early Sept RNS that their interim Phase 2 trial showed the product to be safe. Since then complete silence on trials, results or dates though the recent share issue indicates that they need the cash for, inter alia, Phase 3 trials . My magnanimity tells me they are planning a multi layer announcement a the end of trials advising of results and partnerships. My less generous view is that there as to be some reason why, by now, they have not announced the Phase 2 trial results though collecting and reviewing multi national data does take a while. If nothing by early November then I will be worried.

The Placing was significantly oversubscribed therefore unless we get some bad news, I have a high expectation that the shareholder offer will be too. So little or no chance of getting more than your entitlement. I havn't bothered to apply for more than entitled.

Added to which we have to ask why they are not providing a date by which they will publish the results of their latest trials. Perhaps they are planning a double whammy - great results and a production deal - hope springs eternal.

Food disruption will only happen if we do not agree a deal as regards fishing rights. We may not have a Brexit Agreement by December but we will have Memoranda of Understandings. In short, we pay a reducing levy for say 2 years to the EU and allow fishing as before and they and we allow the unfettered movement of perishable foods free of duty PLUS IT related customs duty payment methods for registered Transport companies. Flights, health and travel will be as before. The remaining issues will be dealt with over time but a Canada style Agreement will be concluded in 2021.
