All I read from the RNS is that due to the failure to attract enough volunteers, the target has been reduced. The share price increase of around 25% is surprising and if not today, could well go back tomorrow. As have said before, if I had Covid related lung/breathing issues but not in hospital, then it is probably not that debilitating and so why would I want to be a guinea pig (with the risk of the dratted Placebo) when I would probably get better in any case. Its the hospitals that need to take on these trials so I must ask the question, why aren't they?

As an ex Government civil servant, I know well how Ministers reputations and therefore the next election are so important. If they do not have an answer to a problem we/they would have to find one even thought we know it wont work, "Successful" testing followed by "successful" vaccines are inevitable ideas from Whitehall albeit cons. Big Pharma will make $zillions so no problem there. The next question is is how you eventually escape the lies. On testing that has huge question marks, its the advent of vaccines.
