RE: Tesla Battery Day23 Sep 2020 10:58
Musk stated that Lithium was readily available worldwide. He has a large stake in Nevada lithium exploration and clearly his intention is to use the clay based deposit for his US battery production in due course. He is good at hyping his products but then which manufacturer wouldn't. The message I took away was the huge cost reduction in his dry battery line. If other battery manufacturers do not somehow develop alternative patents, there wet battery vehicles will remain expensive and heavy. Tesla will rule the motoring world and to to ensure consumer choice he will buy out General Motors, Fiat, Jaguar etc which will then use his technology.
