In the absence of news and while there is clearly some boredom/unrest/frustration among shareholders, I thought I'd throw in my current ruminations to pass the time. Based on nothing but the gut feeling of an observer so not claiming to be presenting facts, just feeling. We are clearly at the stage between updates where the news vacuum creates a bit of heightened tetchiness among shareholders. We've seen it all before. Many times. There has likely been progress we are unaware of that will be presented to us and will calm some nerves. I dont believe they are sat with their feet on their desks. I don't feel we are "on the cusp" of commercialisation yet but happy to be proved wrong. I can't call Morocco, it could be a red herring or the trial results could be imminent. Gut says behind schedule. Lack of Aquafuel results? Puzzling. Focus has likely been on MSC. The big prize. I believe they are keen but there are multiple hurdles yet. An announcement on the fuel supply is the obvious absentee from the party. If we get that we are likely on our way. Utah is also an unknown but there is opportunity. The spectre of a fund raise is increasingly present. The quantum of it should hopefully be kept minimal if we are serious about current projects. Would I participate? Possibly, only in a limited capacity. I am sufficiently committed here to be cautious. Timeline? Probably 3 months behind schedule. Biggest fear? The focus has been too much on MSC rather than getting over the line commercially, and developments in technology move quickly. Who knows whether we will be relevant with the next better and cheaper solution. Therefore we need to strike while the iron is hot and that window is closing. A big quarter to come. Would love to see it happen for those whose patience have been tested. And so BP can buy a new crystal ball.
