I actually thought the "if it slips in to June then so be it" comment was a bit flippant from Jason, knowing full well that most projects have missed deadlines time and time again. Time to pull your finger out QFI as the window of opportunity is closing.

The diesel supply crisis has far-reaching impact.

As Javier Blas of Bloomberg LP has pointed out, Europe has the world’s largest diesel deficit. Nearly half of the 1.4 mmbbl/d pre-Covid deficit was rebalanced with Russian imports. As a global pricing hub for diesel, changes in European markets have repercussions all over the world.

For every three barrels of heavy residue made into MSAR® instead of fuel oil, two barrels of diesel are freed for sale – reducing pressure on the fuel shortage for trucks, lorries and industry.

Understand your caution but I think the key differences this time are the fact we have multiple irons in the fire (not relying on single projects) and the backing of a favourable ESG narrative, which was much less prevalent previously. We also now have multiple products and an economic backdrop which is a major tailwind.

Much appreciated, as ever 46G, very helpful. Might be an idea to put in a date for when funding runs out in future updates so we can see how the runway looks relatively.

As good an interview as I've seen from Jason. Confident, upbeat, nice amount of added detail and all projects on track. Even a couple of those famous smiles of his. The dominos are lined up, now we just need to knock 'em over. Here's hoping he's taken on board the recent comments on building a bit of fat into his project deadlines and that they may even come in a bit earlier than stated.

Agreed Salinger and I am not panicking either Haggis, I just want to see some tangible commitments from the various counterparties to back up how keen we keep hearing they are (maybe less so from Morocco since the management change). It feels like every time we get a proper update from the company I am left feeling optimistic only for that feeling to fade due to lack of delivery. Ultimately, we are a transition fuel that has already lost 18 years of the transition period in which we should have been strutting our stuff.

If this is the case, then JM's wording in the presentation ("end of April") was pretty naïve. Why on earth not give a three-month timeline and for once over-deliver? Hopefully this apparent naivety isn't a reflection of how we are approaching the project management.

Some fairly bold statements and timelines were set out in the most recent conference call in respect of the long overdue project delivery - given we are now into May, when does the company plan to provide a further update to shareholders on the status of the various projects, please (particularly Morocco and the MSC trial which seem to drift on ad infinitum without commitment from the relevant stakeholders)? While I was pleased to note the progress in Utah during April, success is clearly still dependent on finding customers, which is the same challenge we've always faced.
