RE: Manners30 May 2025 19:29
As far as anyone knows, this is a profitable, cash generative business that has invested heavily in establishing two fundamentally sound operations in Africa, no mean feat, producing metals that are in demand, and for copper and PGMs has resource longevity most major miners can only dream of. Yes, the company, having only entered Zambia 6 years ago, has had to learn on its feet, build relationships with Government, suppliers and customers and adjust strategy and plans around opportunities presented and the vagaries of in-country infrastructure. Communications could definitely be better and clearer, something I have put to Leon on many occasions. But people making comments when they haven't read an RNS properly just irritates. Charles at 14:09 on 28th: "The long term agreement for the supply of High Grade Copper Oxide material to Roan has still to be finalised." Whereas the 4th sentence in the RNS states: "Pursuant to the successful result of this trial, the Company HAS entered into a long-term feedstock supply agreement at Roan with production commencing this week." And when you make silly statements like "it is all too late...." and "I am another one who has had enough"... then what are you posting here for? To vent because, like a toddler, you cannot contain your anger? Edzi was spurned by Leon with regard a possible PR role with the company and has been bitter ever since. I can only hope the obvious outright knockers sell up quickly and move on.
