The Hyundai and Apple story seems to have been squashed recently after Kia was forced to announce that it is not in talks with Apple. However, they have now been linked with Nissan and BMW. But I think most of the smart money now is on Magna Steyr manufacturing the car for Apple. They’re an obvious partner and avoid any conflicts of interest that could come from partnering with another auto company.

I’ve often wondered the same thing WhatIf. I’ve been astonished that our fleet seems limited to aftermarket (apart from Cat).

The whole GME thing is pathetic and irresponsible. Yes, I get why they are frustrated with the shorts. It’s infuriating. But what they are doing will also hugely impact small investors outside of their little circle. Really childish behaviour.

A lot of people reacted like I was a bit mad when I bought another 3 million shares in September. But at the moment it’s looking like a good decision.

I keep wondering if this is going to pop as much as we all think it is. I just can’t quite believe it. Are we all going mad? It is this as massive as it feels? I have this dread that the market will open and we go down! This share has always done the opposite of what I expect! Delighted to have reached this point though and hopefully it will be as exciting to the wider world of investors as it is to us. GLA

I may be feeling impatient at the moment, but I’m sure it will come good. In my investing career, patience has been my greatest virtue. With patience (when it would have been easy to bail on companies which were slow to get going) I’ve had an 80 bagger, a 20 bagger and several 4 baggers in the last 5 years. So although I can’t read the blobs, please rest assured that any impatience I express in no way means I have lost faith in SEE or agree with whatever childish nonsense they (the blobs) are spouting.

The code in question was laughable. They added a few parameters that the camera could detect. “Looking-up, looking_left, looking_down, blinded, using phone” I think was pretty much it.

Dilution is never irrelevant. People who say that don’t understand what it is. You are effectively giving away some of your ownership to that person or company in exchange for them putting money in the company’s coffers. That is never an irrelevance. Dilution means you own a smaller part of the company then you did. It may be a necessary evil on some cases, but to call it irrelevant is simply untrue.

I think that’s describing their occupant monitoring methodology, not their driver monitoring system. The DMS could still be us (bear in mind the Rivian has been in design long before we announced any form of work on occupant monitoring).

Was coming here to post this and ask of anyone had any evidence of what DMS they were using. Should have known I’d be beaten to it!
