VF. The last rns on flow rate was 13th April at 150,000 scfd. So no change in 4 months. Largely irrelevant anyway other than a starting point. Hopefully, be around 0.5 mmscfd or a bit more with the pump.

Very out of date Walkman. From April last year. Still talking about gspc as a partner, which was out of date even then.

The investor presentation on the website from December last year, gives va detailed assessment of the potential with an NPV of $725 million for just 10 wells out of a possible 30. Gla.

" The C-77H is currently being flowed without the jet pump to establish a baseline of production without artificial lift, as per the DGH request. The well is flowing at c. 150,000 scfd with heavy liquid loading. We plan to begin the jet pump installation over the next 10 days".

So, now we know. 10 days till kick off.

I see no reason to assume that all of the parts haven't arrived. They've had plenty of time for that. It sounded like they were just waiting for the word from the DGH to start installation. Hard to see what the delay is, they've had a few weeks to establish a base rate. I guess maybe they have done what they can in the interim, electrics or whatever,so I suppose we could still hear any day. Or it could still be a while. Looking like even my revised revised target of mid September for jv news could be optimistic.

Agree sausage. I don't believe we will see significant movement until there is an rns saying a deal has been agreed in principle. I did mention the continued delays to Briana and she said

“ The JV is critical to SYN and we are striving to maximise shareholder value and to avoid conceding too much to potential farminees. "

Buci. I did say almost zero, but yes I take your point. What I meant was there's no reason to think the pump won't remove the condensate successfully. These pumps have done that sort of thing many times. Once the condensate has been removed, there every reason to think the flow will return to about what it was immediately after refrac, that is 0.5 mmscfd, or maybe a touch more.

Is it me or is this a bit odd? I was honest with Briana and told her that I had posted her first reply and would be posting the second. She knew I would as I had told her that with previous discussions. She replied that she already knew as she had a lot of emails telling her so.

Why on earth would anyone do that? People are very strange sometimes.

Walkman. Yes that's what Briana said. Just sounds like they are waiting for the DGH to be satisfied that the rate is stable.

Sausage. I find a polite reminder after a few days, seems to help.

Just received the following clarification from Briana.

" Yes that includes the 4 reconnected zones.

We will install the jet pump when we have satisfied the DGH requirement for a non-pumped baseline of production."

So it really does seem that, as expected, the old zones aren't contributing much. Personally, I think that could be a good thing, that the old zones wont be confusing the issue too much.

Sounds like the pump installation isn't imminent. Gla.

Yes sausage. I sent the original email to Roland and Briana. I reminded Briana this morning. Nothing price sensitive in her reply but still nice to know the pre pump rates are as expected.

I sent an email to Roland and Briana querying a few things. Briana kindly replied today. This is the relevant bit.

" And in answer to your question, the C-77H well is currently producing at pre-workover levels of c. 150,000 scfd with severe liquid loading as expected."

This rate is pretty much as expected, as it the plateau rate quoted in the April rns. I am assuming this includes both old and new zones and that the old zones are contributing very little.

I have asked for this to be confirmed, as they did say at one point that connecting the old zones would further increase production.

Nice try Eagle. Lol. Don't be ridiculous. There's almost zero chance of the proven technology not working. The assumption is that it will almost certainty remove the condensate and that will convince the jv to agree in principle. We have a pretty good idea of what to expect from flow rates and as long as it meets that expectation, that should do it.

It's still pretty much the middle of August until the end of the week but even if, for example it takes a bit longer to establish the first flow rate, it's no biggie. Gla.
