Have to agree Ssccss. I honestly convinced myself that once the workover started it would proceed at a reasonable clip. Also, even while I was making a case for maybe no raise, part of me thought there probably would be. Well no more rose tinted specs for me. They don't suit me. Lol.

For example, I convinced myself that increased gas and oil flow after the rework might stave off the need for a raise. Also worked out what seemed like a reasonable time frame for the work, revised that by a couple of weeks and now even that looks naive. Of course if I now resume pessimistic mode, I will be accused of wanting to get in lower and other such nonsense. Hey ho the wait goes on.

As I mentioned this morning, it doesn't help that we now only get 6 monthly reports nearly 3 months after the period end, so we have little idea how much cash is left. I was really hoping that increased gas and oil flow using the jet pump, would come through in time and be enough to reduce cash burn sufficiently to avoid a raise. Especially since its not that long since the convertible loan. Given past experience, I should have known better.

What's really annoying is that having told us the workover would be done within the existing budget, they then have the gall to use the phrase

" very pleased to announce", as though they expect us to be delighted. Something like

" unfortunately we have to announce" would have been a liitle more honest. Gla.
