They are nowhere near profitable. I have seen people misunderstand gross profit as meaning profitable. That is not true. The share trading volume has been very low with retail investors selling persistently. Most of the II's and seed sellers are holding or have sold out already. There is no demand for the shares in the USA despite an OTC listing. No demand for the shares in general because nobody knows who MODE are.

@ pearls, This is a 2 year investment with alot of volatility. The business model is excellent though but questions remain over managements execution and ability to be flexible to market conditions (ie more coins) and honest.

I think it should be at £1 already IMO but we are where we are. Buy in price is your decision, not other peoples and depends on your investment horizon and ability to stomach or not stomach volatility.

£1 by Q2 next year is more realistic. They are on target to put an extra £5 million on the expenses compared to 2020 which is scary. It will really suppress the SP until we get through the fundraise.

A real mess out on twitter. Despite how people say things, cash is looking weak into next year. No secret by JR of a placing, just 'not this year' but a placing nevertheless. It will stop SP momentum. JR needs to arrange a loan and sell the BTC treasury or use the SPAC to buy at 55p. A combination of all 3 is my preferred option to raise cash.

If management could do a few basics in regard to tactical activities and product offerings we would be in a far better place by now.

1) 5 more coins to be added. Those who opt for BTC cashback as a new user have no incentive to keep their BTC reward with MODE since their other coins are with another exchange.
2) Poor corporate governance. The CEO is a proxy for the Chairman, that is plain to see.
3) Subscription revenues and a broader market launch is still not in sight despite being talked about often.
4) A fundraise will happen sooner rather than later and will be more punishing because of the lack of revenue generation with the current product offering. The Chairman said not this year, but that still means it is coming.
6) Management need to stop being interviewed by the same small, have a go journalistic outfits and find some proper journalistic channels such as Bloomberg, CNBC and controverially journalistic or not, broker notes.
7) The Chief investor Relations Officer appointment is nothing more than due to cronyism and not ability. Other appointments within the business are clearly due to cronyism such as the CEO's and that cannot continue. They do not even hide the fact they are doing it.

It is not liquidity, there is no demand for the shares.

You are right, funds never invest in high risk start ups and never change their mind or reduce their investment. I love this, people who think funds/institutions only sell for a profit and never a loss and never change their investment objectives. I guess you are in the telegram group, contributing?
