The only thing keeping Rita at Mode is the 2million share options that she has. That was disclosed in the MODGF listing. If she thinks she never really has any chance of getting them she will go. She is also replaceable. At the moment she just does a sales job trying to mimic a chinese business model/offering for the european market. All information is publicly accessible for a good sales executive in the retail industry to do this job successfully, without 2million in share options.

It is funny, this (bias) broker note confirms fundraises in 2022 and 2023 given the forecasts, and it also confirm MODE will not be profitable in 2023 like JR said it would be. Some investors are so blinkered they probably do not see that and never will see that. 55k users? Which is less than the 100k users Zak Mir said in an interview, after he spoke to MODE management a couple of months ago.

I agree, this should have been a no brainer but i am seriously worried about the management, Arden, Peterhouse and others involved in the business. The management are not qualified to run a business at this growth stage and publicly listed.

Remainder of PI's are still selling as well as the those in the fundraise in Feb 2021. People want out. Macro issues aside, the problem is that BIG merchant announcements did not happen and Ether which was promised this year did not happen. Mode has only a UK market footprint coupled with relentless free giveaways which is nuts! Fundraise in 2022 is no secret. They refuse to sell their treasury to help fund the business. High chance to buy in lower.

@demoiltion123, They do list the businesses on the website but the list is wrong!! They list all of the THG brands, but in practice My Bag for example does not have Mode as a payment option and the smaller brands using it outside of THG are kept quiet. We only know these other non THG brands exist because Rita Liu let slip that that they use it but still did not say who they are. A real mess to be honest.
