Mode are higher up the android download chart than Metro Bank. Metro sign up 300k new customers a year. Let us say 250k are retail customers and all of them download the Metro app. That is 684 downloads a day across apple and android. Mode is now the same as Metro and probably has alot of legs to go if more merchants can be onboarded soon.

Basically, he is saying a reverse takeover and remaining listed but being a private equity firm. Interesting, but it might be a no go.

The shopify app they were developing has not been launched yet. There must be issues. I can only presume up to a point, that these merchants are on a waiting list for some kind of simple coding package that they can add to their websites. All of this is yet to come but as usual, these things are delayed. Probably not this year for the shopify app.
