Does anyone have a clue how much we spent to acquire iclaprim in the first place?
I think we acquired during merger with Nuprim. Accounts April 2016 show we spent £5.5M to subsidiary that appears on accounts as “capital cost to subsidiary, after acquisition”.
Does anyone know for sure if that amount equates to the value of Iclaprim? At that time of course. Just a hunch.

Thanks Scot126 and SeaHawk. I see where you are coming from. SOA do indeed call the shots as the constitution stands. A fact that I thought everyone knew who invests in Alaskan oil exploration. I never disputed the way the system works. I, like both of you, agree that they need to solve the problem of coughing up.
My opinion still stands. They need to change the way they decide stuff. I couldn't really think of anyone inbetween the state governor and Biden, so Biden was my choice to fix it based on national importance and the assumption that the governor is playing a political game with the fed government. If my opinion is way off the mark due to the way their constitution works then so be it. But readers aren't stupid, and don't need to be spoon fed every last drop of info. I find most ppl welcome different views. I respect yours and I'm pleased you reciprocate.

I had no intention of misinforming anyone. I thought this was a chat board, not a legal advice service. Hence why I posted a link to the state if Alaska tax credits link.
My opinion is that the POTUS is responsible ultimately for matters of national importance. I personally think it rests with him to say if it is right to withhold tax payments promised to companies for investing time and money to better the fortunes of his country. If he chooses to delegate that to each state, more fool him. But all imho.

I don't fully understand why "it is unknown what GB are owed" (presumably this means the sum total of their tax credits) but then again, the whole system appears to be a joke. I think if a government behaved this way in the uk they would be lambasted and forced to correct their illegal activity within months. Heads would roll. Why the US let these things happen is a complete mystery. Pure politics and blame avoidance I assume, to the detriment of small explorers, willing to take a chance on working in minus 50C temperatures.
If the incentives had not been there in the first place, nobody would have drilled a damn well. The state would have no hope. No future revenue. And all investors would have kept their dosh in their pockets. The whole tax credit system is a sham. Disgraceful by the mighty US of A.
Just my opinion. I'll probably be refused entry next time I head across the pond. Haha.

11.57 I can't fault your logic Scot126. Tax credit situation might be moving price today based on what 88e pulled out of the bag. Got to be worth something as it was a kind of deadlock situation for them. And now it's not.
We must not forget that the full dawning and reporting of the Talitha well with final test results will also be potentially market mover as will any deal making announcements.
I just have a feeling that end of June may be significant. Just hunch but frequently my hunches buy lunches. Anyone hungry?

? These shares have been quoted to the London Stock Exchange and are escrowed until 30 June 2021.
