UJO was able to buy up the 650,000 shares as some of the loose holders obviously took a profit on the recent rises.

The plan is working and I think yesterday was the biggest one day purchase of dare I say it "None long term holders".

I suggested months ago that this system would need at least 3-5% buy backs before we started seeing a reasonable rise in SP and thats what is happening.

They have now bought back just over 5.3% since started as from yesterday and I feel let's carry on to buying back down to 100 Million shares in available.

Keep 10% in treasury "10M" then cancel the small balance to make it nice round numbers.

Then we can trade, hopefully for a nice producing asset using cash and shares up to 10% of the company.

It's to me an obvious and organised plan of action and its now seeing a small steady rise.

If you are so negative all the dammed time and cannot see the likely benefits of this then you really need to move on. I don't think you ever will as the frustrating comments by others towards you only seem to encourage your vampiressness negative nature.

Please remind me, as if I'd ever need it, to NOT invite you to any positive activity party when the longer term holders have made some good money.

What would be a normal timescale if all goes well from the consultation to actual start of positive actions with the mine?

I'm a believer in UJO and always wish the company well. I also like reading TAC and your posts (although when its defences against pboo etc, it's a bit tiresome) I understand why and the BB board would be better without the idiots like him.

I would just like a bit more positive action or a plan with reasonable timescale.

I do like the $1M and the buy backs etc RNS's but I want more of a longer term plan with more frequent action positives on development's at least ever quarter, with an update, maybe blended with an RNS about wressle flows, progress etc.

Well I've not posted on here for a while as its got boring.

No real constructive news (Egdon exempted).

Its still a great little investment company, but that seems to be it.

DB doing the best job he can whilst hands are kept idle due to others either doing the work (operators) or because they can't due to funding or licensing issues.

What can he be expected to do?

Buy back share, sorted and ongoing.

Dividends again sorted and ongoing.

Get shut of some investments ! Sorted & ongoing.

Like I said its boring and sorted.

I appreciate he hasn't got a magic wand or pull new great ventures out of his hat. But if this is the idle hands, then that's probably why the SP is also idle ! Up a bit, down a bit !! Not even volatile enough to actively trade.

Maybe there is nothing interesting out there to get a share off, maybe we are just waiting for the Egdon cheap takeover to get completed then await the UJO potentially cheap takeover to commence.( it makes sense with the shared licenses).

We need a future plan, not just with Egdon (not even counting West Newton anytime soon). But with some ambition outside of Wressle.

Ok not a silly gamble either. (DB seems to be quite safe and trustworthy on that one).

We need a bit of flare, the buy back should be a good investment and it doesn't make sense to have a decent takeover releasing new shares, but I wouldn't mind if it had near term potential.

Come on somebody with a bit of a plan.

Please not repeating same old biscathorpe or pen**stones etc unless there's a guaranteed drilling plan.

Still looking good here, I dare to suggest with the BOPD continuing to increase at each new drill site, the SP should be going much higher than the recent blip up.

Ok there's always going to be profit taking from traders and other reasons, but fundamentally we should be higher!!

The most recent RNS was 1/6/23 showing another 1,695,052 from the IPO (OCT 2021). These are exercisable only until Oct 2023 @9p each.

Can someone confirm or give me an idea of whats outstanding please. I think 18,948,195 ? But I might have missed something.

But less than £2M whilst the oil revenue per month is much higher than this token.

Still feels a good investment to me. But maybe I'm missing something.

I'm not sure how good Wressle is long term, due to the Gaffney Cline report, but at the current MC of all 3 Egdon, Europa and Union Jack, then a take over of all 3 would be a bargain at 100% current MC's and with cash in hand plus obvious lower overheads with a combined deal, then Wressle covers all takeovers and the other assets are basically for free. (To develop as and when).

I'm just a bit miffed, that I didn't buy more Egdon over the last few months at the silly low price.

Ah well, still winning and let's hope Europa get taken over. (I did get more of them !!)

The 500k buybacks would have been built up with MM over the time since the last buy backs. Average turnover of stock would have built up a quantity able to buyback. These may not necessarily be available in full, but 500k where so they've taken them out of the market.

A good chunky move, I think and could well tighten up the current negative supply and hopefully reduce any further declines in price.

I'm just wondering what the longer term plans are as Reabold are doing the same. Maybe something to do with West Newton!!! I hope so, as I think we all need some positive movements in developing the assets.

Sounds like a plan in development. It would be great if there was a travelodge/premier inn or similar somewhere not far from the mine site. Would be good to meet GF and MA plus any of the other BOD as well, maybe a few weeks after the AGM, just in case there are any bigger investors attending the AGM.

I feel that would probably be better realistically as it could well be a social and business gathering, potentially even take prospective offers of investment from us for a future placing, as well as brokers.

I don't know what kind of numbers would be interested if possible maybe 50, maybe in smaller groups if feasible 5 x 20 people. I'm sure it could be coordinated by somebody at Alba, then RNS for enquiries etc.

There are plenty of caves/mines offering tours. I appreciate this is a potential commercial gold mine (and that's the core business) but it could be a great sales pitch for actual investors, then marketed for tourism and add on premium sales of Welsh/ALBA Gold products.

It has been proved it could work. "Blue John mines", "Cheddar Gorge", "White Scar Caves" probable ex coal mine types amongst others.

This could be fantastic, especially during the summer with no bats hibernating. I've got so many ideas here to get Alba on the wider UK map.
