With all the uncertainty around the World, the Gold Price is at an all time high and looks set for higher as stability is nowhere near currently.

The Auction for our first coin is going great even at this early stage at around 10 times spot price so far.

Maybe I'm being optimistic but the share price could easily get back to pre recent placing price and virtually double from here as I've noticed a definite shortage of stock over the last 7 ish days.

A few profit takers no doubt, but generally trend seems back up.

Not keen on the mention of clogau jewellery, but I suppose we will have to bite out tongues, as they maybe one of the unique buyers now and for the future.

Yep, pigs are flying but with this diluted decline over the years, some of us live in hope.

Still I did a chunk a couple of weeks back to bring my break even down. So a nice double or preferably a treble would give me enough profit for a bacon butty and maybe a beer.

Yes there are other ways of raising money, I agree.

But we also need a product (currently being worked on "The 1oz coins") the likely jewellery once we have enough gold to start alloying to 9ct and produce a worthwile manufacturing run.

Plus several other ideas, some of which have been mentioned to the board (by several people at the mine visit), but its still early days and quite a lot of admin needs sorting first.

A bigger and better action & processing plan needs sorting (This I beleive is on going).

As far as serious investors are concerned then at this point they will require more shares as they're obviously not just going to give Alba money for nothing.

I know as a fact that GF has said that if serious investors wanted to invest and talk to him, then he will be happy to talk to them.

Not pratting around with a few pounds but £100-200k was mentioned. Although every purchase in the market that holds would help stability in the SP.

I know of at least 2 current investors that discussed further larger investments in Alba. Whether these materialise or not remains to be seen.

Anyway I'm busy working on other business currently, so I'll see what tomorrow brings.

Plus site visit, well recommended for anyone genuinely interested in the mine etc and in it for more than just the investment potential.

Just check my maths please. £500k + £165k probable cash in. The rest was given as fees to existing board and Alba as fees. So actually £665k is likely to be as cash flow only.

I think it would have been nicer to give us a chance to also subscribe for new shares plus warrants attached. But with Hargreaves Lansdown please. Well the coins look great, only 3 but if marketed right, then should get a good premium on gold price and wake up potential investors.

Reading some of the Q&A they are fine gold 1oz and all from clogau mine/waste areas.

So yes 100% Welsh Gold, assumed 999 grade as fine and 1oz each.

I'd expect if auctioned in limited issue with COA 3 1st then 2 and 1, I'd predict at least double current gold price, so hopefully £4k to £10k+ each. Fingers crossed for at least £25k income. Should pay for the production of the coins hopefully, then 2025 for making profitable contribution.

I understand and appreciate your dismay Robbie and everyone else. I'm actually surprised with the further recent dip despite the placing only a few weeks ago at 0.003. So I'd like to think there wouldn't be another raise anytime soon(weeks/2-3 months).

I bought another chunk only last week and maybe nievely felt this was at bottom again.

At the current market cap it would maybe be cheaper for the !! Welsh jewelry site to buy out Alba for the gold that is there but not being processed efficiently yet!

I'd have a go myself, but I'm a couple of million short lol.

I still have a good feeling on this company, but it seems people's perceptions are more Parker Schnabel Alaska than an old hole in a welsh mountain.

I also think although initially shocked at the two recent options to diversifying, I think it could be an interesting option, especially the gold if its easier to extract than the uk and potentially mix with the welsh gold to make a range of jewellery containing say 10% welsh gold of the 9kt type and maybe a higher premium of 100% welsh of the 9kt versions.

Just an idea and putting a rational thought.

Still SP is down and I think if he has any time that GF needs to really get stuck into the PR machine, to get this company on investors radar.

Please ensure before any future placings that all shareholders wanting to participate can do with a bigger span of stockbrokers.

Poor take up by some shareholders but understandable in the circumstances.

I saw your question aadvark, I agree with your comments. The excessive discount (about 30% ish) from the then share price seems to be the usual thing to get the financing wanted from the arranger. I'm assuming they have investors already lined up to gamble blindly on whatever company wants finance. They presumably hold hoping they will be able to sell in the market at a good premium or dump immediately or forward sell to make a quick profit from us lot getting exited about a new website or artist impression of a potential coin.

I'm not happy with this placing, but realistically I anticipated it, I just expected at the same price as last time at 3.5.

Good move. Auction is best as with the right hype this could go way up on spot. Hopefully they'll be doing several denominations of oz and limited 1/10, 1/4/, 1/2 and 1oz maybe 20 of the smaller 2 and just 10 of the 1/2 & 1oz.

Thats if they have it about 22oz + with a bit of explosive luck, this should hopefully hold the prices up and get a decent premium.

Also what would be nice would be some gold in ore as nice unrefined pieces. These would also be at a good premium for those collectors of raw gold.

There is a whole host of ideas if marketed properly, especially on quiet news days, not blocked up by all the politics across the world.

This was only a month ago and wtf has happened since then to crash the share price !!

Some greenies got the better of the wimpy government and courts, to bosh the Wressle plans.

The ex resident cheerleader has thrown her toys out after months of attacking the BOD.

She was much better when being constructively optimistic.

Lack of any proper news from America leading to panic that any unknown flows have dried up!

Basically a good captain DB should take hold of the helm and direct the currently sinking ship to safety, by at least confirming what is actually happening and squashing any malicious rumours.

If its not good news then so be it, there is an expression in management called "giving a sh#t sandwich". I presume you may know, start with good, then with the sh#t filling then finishing with more of a good future.

No news is this case is obviously taken as bad news.

Well some positives and some as per usual negatives. I don't think they managed to get Speilberg for the movie and I believe David Attenborough was unavailable for the commentary.

Yes we need to get lot's better at PR and associated information. But I presume MA is a bloody good geologist and GF knows his stuff with the acquiring of leases and company business.

So unfortunately the company is not made of money and currently hasn't got the staff to sort this side of the PR machine out.

I am not privy to what goes on in the boardroom, but I'm sure it has been mentioned and I would put a bet on that at least one person is looking at this company and seeing a roll and then bags of potential if or when they can join the team.

I'm still optimistic for this business, although a little frustrated at times.

Well I am surprised at the alleged corruption of this shower of sh## BOD. I cannot or don't want to believe that this is the end of i3e with this crappy takeover. Obviously we haven't had a white knight better bid for the company and it looks like we won't now. So is there anything more we can do to get a fairer price for our shares?

I really don't want Gran Tierra shares and there combined corrupt management, so am I faced with selling in the market now or is it best to wait for whatever insult GT gives ?

If this is so, why have our partners in this 75% just had an extension and are pleased about it?

Licence P2358 (containing the Serenity Field) Extension

i3 Energy is pleased to announce that the North Sea Transition Authority ("NSTA") has extended the Second Term of the P2358 Licence ("Licence") for a period of 18 months, so that it will end on 31st March 2026. The Third Term of the Licence is reduced by the same time-period. The area of the Licence has been reduced to encompass the Serenity field only.

Majid Shafiq, CEO of i3 Energy plc, commented:

I'd imagine the tax losses will now mean there's no tax for a good while now.

Maybe until the government!! Sees some sense and actually support British oil companies and see that being self sufficient in the UK is a greener solution than importing power in whatever form it maybe.
