Hi Mullins,

Just an idea from me and you seem to be able to find out things pretty quick. We know from the mine they're primarily after Gold, and we know the old timers started with some lead and copper.

Has the mine still got potential to mine commercially more copper, (not bothered about lead but an option if commercial) and possibly silver as this is often a by-product of mining around copper and Gold mines.

Reason I ask is that copper and silver are usually used in making alloys with Gold for jewelry and it would be nice ! If efficient to have a truly Welsh/British product. It would be a much better more truthful product and sales pitch than our perceived competitor. "Perception of Value". Unless thats a given up term these days.

Any info from you or anybody else is as always appreciated.

And its a NO VOTE for me as well on the Hargreaves Lansdown site. This offer is an absolute pi## take and I cannot believe the BOD are accepting this with the potential this company has got if it was run right with a decent amount of PR. Something Majid and co are definitely lacking.

I got in around prior to Serenity, so well under water, although bought a few since and averaged down, but still under.

Come on a White Knight and get this company taken out closer to 20p and we will all be happier even if its a new shares deal in a company being run properly with an honest CEO.

If you do the maths, we are up about 40% from the last placing price.

Ok ok, doom mongers will say well down on the others though. But progressive and I'm sure if all goes to plan tHe SP could well keep creeping up with hopefully regular positive updates. There's loads of potential here and loads of information in the pipeline. Granted some won't be great, but with a market cap in the single figure millions, it wouldn't take much to get us over £10M.

Yes there's likely to be more placings but also some great opportunities to get in at this low price.

I agree Robbie, pretty good Rns and shows the progress made over the last 6 months. The doom mongers out there will always knock things down. They'll probably do it in their day to day life as well. There's no point worrying about them as They'll bring you down to there low level.

Anyway great news about the first blast, it's progress and positive. We are still in the early days and this might be just rock with no gold, but it might also be a hidden treasure waiting for processing.

We have to start somewhere and I'm sure KB & MA are both planning where the gold bearing vein path maybe. They have done drills previously and both have experience in this type of plans. So fingers crossed we can see some good shiny stuff soon. Gla dyor etc

Yep Robbie, looking forward to the blasting, its the extra progress needed and hopefully with some decent worth while gold. That should reduce the critics and as you say a hopefully re-rate.

I got a few good chunks from the placing but still well under water. I'll need a double to break even currently.

So fingers crossed and I'm still hoping for that shareholders meeting in wales sometime as mentioned about 18 months ago.

It would be good to get a few of us positive holders to actually get some face to face chance to chat with GF & MA and maybe the new bloke KB.

Well our North Sea partner i3e has had a derisory takeover recommended at about half its value of when we where drilling Serenity.

So assuming this will go through at some stage soon, where does that leave our 25% in the license etc.? I'm assuming not worth the paper its written on. Another Europa disaster write off it seems. Any thoughts from the better informed than me?

Looking at Gran Terra. There up 64% over last 6 months and 32% over the last 12. So where being offered shares that are already at a premium compared to ours. This is a crappy derisory offer for most of us, especially the ones of us who bought in initially for the Serenity North Sea disaster in the higher 20p range. We need an all cash offer at at least 20p. I'm probably dreaming but I for one can't stomach this miserable offer.

Come on BOD look after the shareholders and not just yourselves!!

Hi Andi, good for confirmation of your purchase. Hopefully all reds at 0.00037 + are purchases. It looks bad seeing the red all over but realistically LSE never gets the red/blue correct and the gloom mongers jump on red. Glad you've bought in/more as I reckon there's going to be some good updates as progress is made.

Good brief video. Looking progressive and looking forward to the level 4 - 4 1/2 - 5. Hopefully get a video of the blasting etc. Would also be good to see the quartz vain as well, but I'd expect difficult as the lighting won't exactly be Hollywood standard. But yes, quite happy and keep up with the videos GF.

I wonder how long it takes in time etc to get down to level 5 ?. Perception of size of mine would be nice as us lot on topside have no ideas.

I feel that if GF & co could do a placing at a decent price for £10M + then they would do it. But thats never going to happen at the moment.

So unfortunately discounted small money placings are all the company can do until it hits hopefully enough Gold to get the market buzzing.

A bit like Helium 1, they've had several placings at much more than the SP prior to finding helium and there still on early days

I'd imagine a kilo or 10 of gold would bounce this SP considerably more than any past placing and if it was actually found then us lowly shareholders would be smiling a bit!!

For now I'm buying with HL hopefully find out exactly on Mondays RNS.

I believe it was 10th July they spudded on Andrews 2 well. Suggesting 8 days for completion of first phase. Then obviously clean up etc, assuming they hit oil with the 80% chance of success.

So let's chat about something potentially positive and hopefully additional income.

Heaven knows we may even get a another dividend in the future (currently undeclared) as waiting to see what happens with UK government at the time of the last divi announcement.

I appreciate the SP is bad and there's lots of factors. Labour oil opinions !! Grennies court issues (finch) !! America !! BCE suspended !! Etc

I agree with your assessments Scotalba with regards the locals would prefer the mine re-opening. It's common sense for the locals really, as if there are employees at the mine, whether sub contractors or Alba employees then there will be more money to their various economy's.

Doesn't matter if its a pint of beer or a bacon butty, its something for the locals that they wouldn't have with a closed mine.

Another more distant idea ! I also have shares in UJO, EOG and previously Egdon, they contribute I think £100,000 a year to local development around Wressle. This could be youth activities like football, scouts, guides etc or as GF has suggested maybe a museum of some kind. If this employs locals that is obviously great and gets more locals being friendly rather than activists. The local MP's also would appreciate the votes from the locals happy with a local business helping everybody if/when successful.

The negatives are obviously bitter or trying to manipulate loose holders into selling cheaper for their own plans.

Good look all Alba genuine shareholders.

Ps though. As there are people in the Alba office, it would be nice to reply to some if not all emails.

I don't know how many come through, but even a generic reply saying "Thanks for you message and we plan to inform all shareholders with the appropriate updates in the next RNS".

At least that would be something.

What was this license actually for?

Maybe I'm a bit out of the information on this one but I'm assuming its nothing to do with Inishkea (Big project) or Serenity (as with i3) or anything to do with recent main land projects (as with other partners as well.

So how important is this and what was it for?

Any information would be appreciated.

Is the AGM in London?

It would be good to be in Wales not far from the mine/office. Maybe hire a room in one of the hotels about 10-15 minutes away (Barmouth or similar).

Maybe more shareholders could attend.

Or is that a bad thing with current SP?

Maybe get some good news out first, SP up, don't do a placing, but have AGM then.

Can't not can explore, test etc with shares.

I'm not convinced on this move.

Its speculative and on the other side of the world!

We have a current Market Cap of around £5-6M so hardly Rio Tinto and the additional costs and distraction of the board with all that's supposed to be going on, I'd suggest is not needed, at least currently.

The £250,000 of shares also is another dilution. Ok at 25% up on the average but within 30 days and 15 days average prior to that!! I hope there's some good news that boosts the SP up this next couple of weeks, so a bit less shares issued.

Also it will be a dilution as these shares will be sold as you can explore, test and etc with shares, its got to be cash from a sale of the alba shares, therefore will obviously hold the SP down whilst this is going on. So about 350-400M new shares floating about holding us down even with some good extra results from the samples, blasting and aero surveys.

One of the 5 year licenses runs out this year. So what has been done over the last 41/2 years? And at what cost or time to renew this license.?

I do like the idea of diversification but if the current BOD and paid staff ? Plus work experience are so busy with the current business then why take on the extra loading now.

Maybe its an opportunity that must be taken now?

Maybe its to try and prove the asset and then sell to the bigger player next door at hopefully a great profit ?

If it was such a sure thing then the existing owner probably wouldn't sell.

Basically I'm not keen, but I'm not on the BOD, so my opinion has no sway.

Glad they're getting stuck in to the trenching. Hopefully some good commercially viable results and if so get really stuck into the waste tips 2024, whilst also progressing with the mine.

Might be worth a further dabble now the Isa allowances are renewed again. Still feels like we are lowering our break evens (averaging down) though.

We could do with several good news RNS's without a raise a few days after. Get the SP up and above the 0.017 before a maybe needed by then a placing at .0125 again. The last one at .0065 feels like giving it away.

Even though I'm likely to be in for some more if it drops below .0065 like the drift/drop after last placing.
