Fair point, but this is a small scale, shoestring budget operation in comparison to the Alaskan fields! But the will get the intermediate section drilled and the casing cemented! Job on 😉

Temperatures are sub-zero throughout the day and down to -20C at night just now, but by Sunday warmer temperatures throughout next week, so will match in with the program just fine!

Definitely think the Air drilled finish through the bottom production section is a big plus - clean, ready to go, time saving bonus on these wells!

Galactica/Pegasus is starting to make sense as a shrewd move by the company 👌

State Well 16 took 4 days from spud to complete intermediate section to 1111 ft. then in the following 5 days, cased and cemented, and the production section Air drilled a further 100ft to TD at 1211ft through the Lyons sandstone reservoir!

This drill appears to be very similar!

The air drilling appears to produce a neat clean finish in that bottom production section, ready to produce 👌🤞

The drilling Contractor is a small family owned business Andreatta Well Services

They are mainly involved in Water Well and sewerage/drainage systems throughout Colorado, but they carried out The drilling operations for Blue Star at State Well 16 in April/May last year! Interestingly, the Air drilled the bottom section to TD, and without any major setbacks! They RNS’d when the well was spudded a couple of days after Rig up, then again when finished the intermediate section, and at TD and finally Discovery!

If they have gone the quiet route and are indeed drilling, then end of this week might bring news of TD

My slight concern is the overall size of the Contractors back-up resources if there are issues during the drill, but they are in the best place in the world for source spares and equipment!

Hopefully we’ll hear positive news soon!

So what’s the hold up! The last drill at State Well 16 took 2 days from mobilization to spud! They RNS’d Spud, intermediate section, TD and Discovery within 3 weeks! Are they just drilling ahead now, and adopting HE1 PR tactics 🤔

Emailed Blue Star yesterday enquiring who the Drilling Contractor at Jackson 31 was, and to my surprise I got a reply from CEO Trent Spry this morning!

Very small family run company who do all aspects of roads, groundwork’s and drilling for industry, farming and rural householders. Think they will be very cost effective for the holes we intend drilling.

Only 1.5 hours from site to their yard.

More than a tickle needed - a few 20m buys would stir some interest!

Coming up to 6.30am in Las Animas and the crew will be rolling up in their Pick-Ups, doing their Steak and Eggs easy over on the back of a shovel over a gas ring, getting ready to set the Top Drive in motion and drill into the Colorado dirt!

Think we may well get a further RNS tonight to say they have started by end of the today!

Rise 17%, consolidate, and still 17% higher than yesterday's 0.85p low start!

Maybe Blue Star will announce tonight that the Drilling Company has a spare Rig in the yard, and are going to mobilize it to Jackson 4, to take advantage of the reasonable weather! Plenty rigs about, just needs Lorna to pick up the phone and tell Trent to get on with it! After all, these Drill sites are like weekend Scout camps in comparison to Itumbula!
