9.40am at the prepared and ready Drill Pad at Jackson No. 31 hole. Truck will be in setup mode now and as it’s a big Water Drill, all the ancillaries will sit alongside on trailers, ready to get the drill up and running. Spud announcement will be in RNS within 2 or 3 days! Start of a run of news. Even if no news of ML imminently, there will be action! 😉

Approximately 500 miles from Dar es Salem and a further 100 miles on poorer roads into drilling area in Rukwa! 24 hour trip for a truck loaded! Just to keep the info factual!

That date is for submission of documentation to allow HE1 to draw up a list of compliant companies who will then be asked to tender for the detailed works/supplies!

Interesting requirement in the document submission asked for as part of the process to be accepted onto the approved tender list next Wednesday!

That’s a tight timescale, so would presume possible tendering companies were aware of that release at an earlier date. Can only be good for positive sentiment going forward!

Also, the forecast for Las Animas in Colorado is showing 0% precipitation over the next 10 days - freezing nights and blue sky days, so all good to complete first drill pad and get started, and get groundworks done one second drill site.

HE1 may well be a different proposition in 2 weeks time!

Weather in Las Animas in Colorado still set fair going forward! Possibility of a light snow dusting on Sunday, but other than that, frosty nights and cloudy/bright days and a good number of blue sky days! Rig will be leaving the yard on Monday, rig-up next week, and drill bit spinning on the 13th 👌

Since Bluestar announced delay and saturated ground from an unusually heavy snow fall for Las Animas region, the weather has set fair, the snow has gone and each day the sun has dried up the ground considerably, albeit the nights are hard frost. Just like in farming, there is a critical switch over from too wet, to drying out, and full steam ahead with operations on the land!

This is where BS are at now - access road will be dozed and stoned, pad and lay down area prepared and all ready to bring the drill in!

It’s a big truck mounted water drill they will be using, so very likely it will be put in place between Christmas and New Year, and ready to spud 2/3rd January 🤞
