AA are in a potential sale process. Their share price shot up from low 20’s to high 30’s off the back of this news. As the process has dragged on (1 month extension given) the share price drifted back down to low 30’s and has lingered there. It’s ticking up this week (I assume as we get closer to the end of the extra month) as excitement builds for some kind of deal. As there is no end date for the EUA sale process it’s probably not surprising it is lingering. Some news or big news and off it goes, otherwise I guess this is what we have to get use to. GLA

Ian please can you stick me down for the 2nd September for the first big bit of news and £1.51 is my guess for the opening offer via RNS. I do think there will be counter offers because why wouldn’t you once you have seen your oppositions hand? When bidding for something all you want to know is what the other parties are offering and in this instance that will be revealed! Holding until the end.
