I think the deal must have been agreed prior to the board changes RNS of the 18th September. If that’s the case then lawyers would have been instructed prior to this as well. Lawyers news was kept back for the interims which makes sense as the board changes RNS was important news on its own. If this is the case and you said 6 weeks legal work then we could be very close. Ian can you put me down for Friday 16th October RNS please. GLA

A guaranteed 3p will be a lot of money to holders of a large number of shares. Personally I’ll wait until the end. Each to their own though. GLA

If you only have a small investment then probably won’t make much difference but if you have a lot of shares then the odd few pence adds up. GLA

I read this as “we are extremely excited to tell all of our shareholders about the astronomical deal we have agreed and thanks for supporting us” GLA

I work in a sector where large land acquisitions are taking place all of the time. The acquisition moves into a new and more certain TAASI category once ‘terms agreed and solicitors instructed’. Lawyers are never instructed until heads of terms are agreed. The hard work is done in my opinion. GLA

I think the original poster on this thread was worried about it taking years. That is not going to happen. 3 to 6 months would be a reasonable amount of time to pull together what is probably a very complicated deal. It could be near the end or it could be half way through. It won’t drag on was my point. I don’t feel it has dragged on yet. GLA
