I guess my negative analysis is based on further global economic deterioration and possibly into mild recession in US,and Europe due to tariffs...The CEO comments and forecasts are basically on the current situation..but l suspect a mild profits warning in early autumn..JD is a well run company but these events are out of their immediate control

Alex...it's about the macro picture,market sentiment, uncertainty etc etc...Putting rational logic is not going to make much impression for rest of year...

Like for like revenue is going to show a decline for year 2026..Profits are going to be flat,and this does not factor in orange man tariffs.. Can't see this rising much more than very low 70ps

Monty..You seem a bit naïve about this company..The CEO destroyed all positive energy about this company by pursuing his own personal vanity in trying to buy TT...He is running the company like his own property with the board filled with people who would never disagree with his own opinion..The SP we as heading towards 400p prior to his highly leveraged failed takeover..The CEO/chairman has a long history of failed attempts and court proceedings in business..

Chances of a deal being dropped....90% due to the massive global upheavals...It's interesting to see that Sidera,even at these prices are not buying shares of Wood Group to strengthen their bargaining position..

All oil company shares fell heavily today due to economic slowdown meaning less demand for the black stuff,plus OPEC to increase daily production..Tullow is not going to bounce back strongly for some time

Newspapers reporting in America that all mergers and acquisitions have been stopped due to the massive economic uncertainty ...Very little chance Sidera will proceed with the takeover..

I think come the 17/4 Sidera will not extend but drop the bid...Only an idiot would bid with such internal and global chaos going on,with huge financial market instability..Once suspended,the audit will take months to sort out the financial misrepresentations over several years.

With Wood Group making a trading loss for 2024 and cash outflow of £200m,plus the audit revealing far greater damage than first thought,and now with global tariffs announced...I would think Sidera would not consider an offer for Wood at any premium..l suspect 30/40p will be top offer..The global uncertainty must make the favourite option of Sidera walking away without a bid.

I seem to recall reading pre recent cash raise,that institutions taking up their rights are subject to a 90 day lockup...However once raise completed there is no mention of the lockup....Hence the new shares do seem to be getting sold to realise a profit...

Statuary profit is down from last year.Costs are up.No dividend and current trading is difficult (CEO quote) The market reaction is justified..

This can mean MMs are long on stock,So price not moving up, otherwise it might trigger selling...

It's not a restructure as such,but a refinancing..This means the debt might be moved elsewhere at lower interest rates..Or keep existing,but lengthen the maturity date.Or both.. Chairman stated nearly completed.. Hopefully there will be an RNS,along with final quarter trading update,because next results are not until late June.

Foxy..l read a couple of months ago on fool.com that the value is 1.75p in its diluted form...Next consolidation will be at next fund raise...

Good results from Halstead today 27/03/25... Revenue for year only slightly down but profits slightly up...Europe flooring is picking up and UK flat lining... Victoria taking out a large amount of costs,So should see some increase in profitability in June update.

Jen1800...Yes l forgot that with the debt reduction, THG will still have well over half a billion pounds in debt... THG is capitalised at around half that amount...Without good trading momentum, THG could well face a further cash call down the line

So the extension unnerved shareholders and now the SP will probably trade in 37/40p range...If there is another extension than the shares will move more sharply down and trade in 33/36p range..l still think acceptance will be a low ball price of around 40p
