Today's rise makes up only about half of yesterday's falls...The SP is down on last two days

I wonder if this share will finish today down from yesterday,as people realise that Tullow is not going anywhere fast...

Krakenoil...Yes the price is looking somewhat too light for the amount of energy assets being sold... Probably around 150m added might be a respectable price

The SP will finish very slightly down by close of trading day,as investors realise there is a long wait before any conclusion to this takeover..The CEO hinted there could be another extension from this current extension...

We don't know how much longer the audit report will take...FT reports that any bid price will reflect the need to recapitalise the company...In other words it will not be a high bid as cost to stabilise Wood will be considerable...I suspect if the audit states some substantial mis reporting and thus balance sheet weakening the bid will be low..If report says negligible damage,then bid will be moderate..

Rumours getting stronger that Wood Group has had a merger offer from Worsley of Australia...If So this is good news for shareholders in that it will force Sidera to increase any low ball offer in light of competition for Wood..We will know Monday if ru!our is fact (l suspect it is true)

I suspect a big disagreement on price .. Sidera want to pay 40p and Wood want 60p...

Insiders are selling down the stock in anticipation of a 40p offer being rejected and possibility of no deal increases.

Pretty obvious that either an extension will be announced Monday,in which case the SP will drop due to greater uncertainty about deal going through...Or a low ball 40p offer will be accepted...Insiders are selling in anticipating of further SP falls next week...

If no announcement by Friday,there will be an extension,which will drop the shares as less certain it might not go through

I think it's Monday morning when THG is officially a FTSE 250 stock..Some funds getting in early for lower SP....

Nihar...you will not,because the SP is not yet at the bottom..Huge volatility until end Dec when the amount of penalties disclosed.. Don't forget earnings are being hit due to possible loaners shunning Close due to its tarnished reputation.

After today's drop..a PE of around 3.8

Why the drop.... PE of 70...Results good but nowhere near enough to merit such a high rating, so the SP drops accordingly

4.05pm..massive amount of buying all day,but SP going down to near day low???

There has been a lot of buying this morning..Looks like the MM is manipulating the SP due to there shortage of stock,by shaking the tree....
