Have you looked closely at the figures,after one whole year profits have improved by just 1%... Debts have materially reduced,but it's steady as she goes...Nothing in the statement to get excited about.. It's disappointing for investors who correctly decided to jump ship..

Yep..Headlam Is saying that so far in 2025 trading was anticipated to increase,but actually has deteriorated...Somero,which makes concrete flooring also downbeat ..Which a financial statement from chancellor coming up where taxes have to go up even more, it's not looking good for Victoria..The chairman did in January,state profits will increase regardless of trading,due to big cost savings..

The stock,buys and sells are often not related to SP movements,but rather to market makers requiring more or less stock for various reasons eg someone want to make a sizable holding but mm cannot satisfy that requirement so moves the stock up artificially to induce sellers etc etc

The business has grown,but thru acquisitions..Exclude that and the company's trading shrank,rather than grew..With today's results,it puts the company on a PE of 25, which is a little high in my opinion

Cannot buy this share thru an ISA..It's no wonder big shareholders are shunning this stock,as they would be saddled with a chunky tax bill on any gains..The SP is about right in spite of today (7/3/25) a further massive purchase by director.

Worth a punt just in case any reported leaks concerning the takeover in weekend press.

Adjusted profit is up,but statuary profit is down massively..Adjusted profit is what matters,but retail investors concentrate on statutory profits..Company needs simp!ification of accounts..Dividend is very miserly indeed

Just plc paying the price for having such complex accounts that very few retail investors understand...They need to report in a more concise and clear manner.

Don't forget the CEO at last trading update stated that he is expecting a slight increase in trading at year end but increase accelerating in second half of year..He also stated that even if no trading increase at year end, profitability will increase due to cost cutting measures.

Kenmare said no to 530p,but share price is 390p..This seems to be because insiders believe Kenmare directors are being to greedy and the potential suitors will walk away..

Trading today on a PE of 12 so broadly correct...There might be a further slow down later in the year so a PE of 10-12 ois probable for whole of 2025...The economy is screwed up So Greggs is doing a good job..
