The historical worth of the pound makes your figures very interesting. comparing 2010 to 2023... (not 2024 as you state, you can see in real terms spending hasn't increased.

Which you could argue is a good thing but for the fact that UK has a greying population, hence the huge demand of the UK population on the NHS.

The craziest statistic is that older people are more likely to vote tory (and brexit , which decimated the british economy and having a fall-on effect on all sorts over budgets including public health care, water and roads) and yet they are the ones that need the NHS the most and are statistically the ones who are suffering waiting for treatment eg a new hip.

Like millions of over 55's, you've got to ask yourself how old do you feel and whether or not you feel lucky or whether or not you are rich enough to jump the NHS waiting lists by paying for private health care.

Besides, GDR themselves are the biggest derampers, no-one else can even come close to the BoD track record of sending the SP south.

The description of the job vacancy., "Support software teams with hardware integration" . they need to integrate the POC (hardware) to something... The POC has one job, to provide a positive or negative result , a useful second job would be to automatically share that result with an NHS system. As mr jimi stated , NICU internal systems , NICU neonatal intensive care unit.

ok , if you are right I believe you. But I hoenstly believe I heard Mr Cheek or even Mr Budd (it could be that long ago) saying that it's a problem that the POC is not integrated with NHS systems. It could be this system you are talking about.

This senior product engineer highlights the problem GDR have with their POC systems. The problem was mentioned somewhere in an RNS or presentation last year and that is the POC is not integrated with the NHS IT systems, it's standalone and therefore of limited value to clinicians. Lab tests procedures are tried and tested and as such results are integrated with the NHS IT system and therefore patients records. In short, currently GDRs POC system costs the clinicians too much time, despite the benefit to the patient of a quick result. GDR have IT engineers working on this solution and the job description suggests that GDR still has these problems left to fix, "ensuring compliance, functionality, and manufacturability of our next-generation diagnostic devices."

Perhaps GDR's BoD could take the same test, it might explain why they pay themselves such huge salaries relative to the current commercial position of the company, its cashburn and yearly loss. Any PI would agree.

They announced that they would be seeking a place in november 2023 (ie ongoing concern comment) and this :ongoing concern" comment appeared again end of november 2024. During the investors presentstion on 26th march they said they were seeking funding to replace the death spiral funding the Mr Budd had arranged. In May they announced the exact details, timings and conditions and price of that placement. GDR should probably do the same again as the money runs out. with a burn rate of 500k, at the moment they will have 2 million in the bank. I think they had 1 million in the bank at the end of march last year, so the timings of this years placement should be very similar to last year imo. But I'm not taking into account any sales at all. I'm assuming no significant sales. Why should I, as non have been announced.

If you are correct, and assuming the events leading up to the placing last year in May will repeat itself(when their cash runway ran out in june/may). GDR should announce that they are discussing a placement with PH by the end of March/ start of April. I suspect PH will help them out again simply because, despite the placement, GDR have never been in such a strong position commercially, potentially speaking of course. GDR are still yet to announce meaningful sales figures and as such they still can't offer any projected sales figures ( I believe they confirmed they could not provide projected sales figures during the presentation in november simply because they have no idea how many stroke marker tests will be bought , as the lab tests are the preferred option). The bottom line is that the new sales new needs to pitch the stroke gene test incredibly well to NHS trusts.

How much income do you expect GDR to receive in the coming weeks to lengthen the cash runway?!

It's a trade Mr Jimihendrix, someone sold 750k shares and someone bought 750k shares and the market-maker and broker took their cut. I'd say the person who sold 750k shares @2.14p got a reasonably good price , considering the relatively high number of shares. It's not really a shop, the market-makers generally don't take a position ie they don't buy in loads of shares wholesale to sell to the private investors at retail prices. MM's generally just take their cut. That said, in Peel Hunts case, they could well be acting like a shop, milking PI's for all its worth.

Labour are focusing on reducing waiting times and are essentially abandoning "prevention is better than the cure". NHS obviously needs alot larger budget to do both. Not good news for GDR as the report specifically mentions deprioritizing drugs that prevent stroke.
