I'm not going to convince any PI's to go private, someone else on the board mentioned going private. If GDR announce they are going private the SP would plummet imo!! Everyone knows GDR are years away from self-suffciency, if ever.

GDR is unlikely to go private yet PI's will be invited to take part in a fundraise this year regardless of whether GDR goes private or not.

AIHL in scotland is also a success. Financially speaking, in relation to GDR's monthly cash burn its not hugely significant. But the ball is still rolling..

This is big news. Nice prioritised labtesting and yet a HASU has chosen POC testing, in particular GDR's PoC testong. According to Google there are 107 such centres in UK. Typically, GDR shareholders always expect more...otherwise sp would've increased. I'm impressed by the news.

GDR should be worth 60p. It just needs to ern 10mil per year from its products.

Of course it's not a waste of time, POC is the future, but the future is a little bit further away than iclinicians and patients would like. NICE lab testing recommendation is proof of that. Manchester is leading POC testing which is great but it has been awarded funding to do so. Other trusts will use lab testing because they have no money to spend on POC testing and training. I've said for at least 2 years now that GDR should give the POC testing kit away for free, including free training and earn its money on the tests themselves. Similar to other business models eg printers and budget airline companies. Whether you like it or not you have to compete with lab testing , you need to convince trusts to buy a POC kit, from their own funds when the lab-tests are centrally funded.

BTW The AIHL test is still pending full NICE approval (ie centrally funded testing), I think Mr Budd mentioned it would take another 2 years before they expect full approval.
