Truw. I watched a programme about the Coastguard recently. There was a passenger on a cruise ship who was evacuated by coastguard helicopter because he'd had a stroke (it was his fifth). The commentary stated that the patient needed to get to hospital within 3 hours to receive the necessary treatment and best possible outcome. I understood "treatment with 3 hours" as being the medicine, which is ineffective in certain people with the gene that GDR storke market test is testing for. I don't know how strict the 3 hour window after a stroke actually is, but it's obviously strict enough to justify the expense of an evacuation by helicopter from a cruise ship and transfer directly to a hospital . Then surely, after all the effort and expense gone into to helping an elderly stroke victim, that a hospital would think nothing of paying for an immediate POC genetic test, to confirm the very urgent treatment is as effective as possible, and not wait a week for a lab test result??!

Or from a trader perspective, SP has fallen this year 2.45p to approx 2.15p

SP is stuggling to fall below 2.1p AND struggling to break 2.3p. Which sums up the markets indecision about GDR at the moment. Placement forthcoming this year, and yet GDR could offer some good news too.

Student(s) maybe be involved in the study too. Prof will probably simply oversee it.

The study lasts 24 months according medics doing the work. Gdr can't frame it as 18 months data gathering if they wish but the all important processing of data, interpreting it and publishing it will take 24. Maybe less. But the budget for their study pays for 24 months.

Evidence collection will take up to 18 months be it it will take 24 months for results and conclusions to be reached and published. So 24 months before we are informed.

Interesting that the medics performing the study say 24 months and GDR stated 18 months in the RNS. uExplains alot wrt to the inaccurate/optimistic timeline predictions that come from GDR over the years.

A gdr director mentioned recenty, cant remember where, that GDR are unsure of the appetite of PI's and thier enthusiasm for an uptake for a share placement. Last May, GDR tried to raise 6 million from PIs but only about 3 million was raised. Peel Hunt then stepped in and acquired the rest of the placement , owning 20% of all shares. Which over the following months they sold to PI's on good news regarding the breakthrough programme . PI's can only assume Peel Hunt will step in again to mop up the unsold placement shares at the next dilution. But then again , perhaps GDR and Peel Hunt will do something else entirely.

Mr Alan, why the sudden attack on Mr overthelimit?

Mr BMW, as per june 2024 they spent 430k a month on things. They said the cash burn on things would increase to 600k 25Q1. I think the latest figures suggest 500k is spent each month on things.

GDR has been approaching that stage since 2020. The company is built on approaching such a stage.

It might not be. If the SP rises to 4p on good news and stays there, then the placing price may turn out to be 2.2p, the price at which the directors recently purchased shares. However, GDR directors buy shares to shore up the SP, for whatever reason. The small scale of their GDR investment relative to their annual GDR salary and the timing suggests as much, at least to me. In other words, GDR directors have form in buying GDR shares to help ensure GDR remains an ongoing concern rather than as a sound investment. It makes very good sense to adopt this strategic purchasing considering the huge salaries the directors pay themselves. I think the only exception to this rule was Mr Budds purchase around january 2020 @ approx 10p, just before covid truly hit the UK. Ever since then director purchases appear to be timed around bad news for PIs, imo. But it depends on your point of view. Could last months director share purchases be the exception? Time will tell. But we do know that GDR needs to raise funds to remain an ongoing concern. How much does this forum believe is left in the bank now? £2 million ? and a monthly burn of approximately £500k?

Mr overthelimit, taking a look at past dilutions, of which there are many, I assume the share dilution price would be set at twice or even three times less than prevailing sp around the time of announcement.
