I dont know Dr Gilhams track record with other companies but as chair of GDR he's presided over 12 years of demise , no significant sales yet a very significant reduction in shareholder value.

Well done Mr Nugent. Finally a member of the board who has invested significant sums of money into GDR. And Dr Gilham resigns too . No wonder sp is up.

I'd love to know why Mr Nugent changed his opinion on the Bod.

He admitted to with-holding the truth at the meeting in Manchester. I'd have respect if the statement read

‘ Open and transparent communication with our shareholders is essential in order to restore shareholder confidence in BoD’

I don't think they threatened to resign, I think they threateningly said the company may no longer be able to continue as an ongoing concern as there were no other official financial offers they could sign off.

I think to BoD they appeared to behave like charities, giving GDR money and all that was required was shareholder approval.

I think we 've all learned enough about Peel Hunt, or any other financial company, this year . They are only interested in making money off private investors. Just like taxes, you have to pay them if you want to be a LTH of GDR. That was until Mr Nugent swooped in and gave everyone an early Christmas present. I still can't quite believe that the BoD is still not buying shares. They are obviously not as happy with the situation as we are, which is concerning.

I can only assume that that's the bare minimum GDR can operate at. But one thing still niggles me at thats the salaries of BoD. They are way out of line for such a small company thats never made any profit, and that in effect is still a start-up yet no longer has products that are unique.

Very true, Mr Stocksaint. GDR has competition which is didn't have not so long ago.

Dr Gilham could well be the person loaning GDR money, together with Mr Nugent. Apparently Dr Gilham is rich and astutue. Therefore I'm sure he doesn't want to lose GDRs IP to Mr Nugent, now that Mr Nugent is essentially in control of GDRs financing at the moment.
