The PoC kit would make improve the situation for everyone. Assuming it is a portable pcr test with incredible accuracy 99.7% or so ( if it's not as accurate as true PCR testing then the competition includes all 1000's of other companies producing less accurate tests.. which is why the very long delay in reporting preliminary results concerns me)

More testing is taking place now in the UK than ever before. Seems counter-intuitive but thats what the gov states. Of course not all are PCR tests.

Good question. I think there was a list of tests posted recently, 90% pending approval, if I recall correctly.

Mr budd made it very clear wrt beckmann. Sales will be difficult as GDR just dont have the sales resources and network that Beckmann has. I think I might go to an online casino and invest on red.

Breaking news: Gdr had nothing and still has nothing.

Nothing has changed since the rns but for the fact theyve confirmed what we already knew. 1 shipment of sales worth 400k dollar to Beckman. the poc work is delayed (sounds like its woefully delayed)
It means that Beckman have still not sold the batch that they ordered in Feb.

Thankyou. It confirms what I suspected, you are a very clever chap. My story is very similar. I did sell above 140p this year only to buy back in far too early after the RNS in february - which has wiped out my profit for this year. An expensive lesson, but a lesson nonetheless.

GDR did not achieve anything in 2020 - but we all knew that. We knew they'd failed to get approvals in their own target markets: India & USA (and the WHO) - sure they are still pending, so what? We knew they'd failed to sell more than a couple of tests to people who'd wandered into their offices by accident during the height of the pandemic, we knew ii's were getting out - selling their gifts from GDR, we knew that a "1 million contract" pending approval never materialized. We now know self-imposed POC deadlines haven't been met and the 'european health authority" is still interested (presumable in the POC and not any other GDR product that is available). It concerns me greatly that Mr Budd states that the commercial agreement with beckman in 2021 falls under 2020 results, as it implies he's desperate. Presumably Mr Budd will simply repeat this news when the half year results for 2021 are published too. The best thing about this RNS is that he admits GDR have only sold $400 000 of tests to Beckmann to date. Only sales by Beckmann and/or a dangerous mutant corona virus unaffected by vaccines and spreading wildly across the world could maintain an SP of 80+p.

the current SP is based purely on bets that beckmann will sell lots of plates , but they are selling in a saturated test market. What I've learned from this is that Budd is in the business of spouting hope and not making deadlines, that they set themselves. I have had colleagues like this.

If you still believe GDR meets its own deadlines after one year of investing then you mustn't have been paying attention. GDR offers hope wrt its covid products. Very rarely is that hope is backed up later by a powerful RNS, but occassionally it is eg the commercial agreement with Beckmann. It's not that GDR do not deliver at all, but they are a company that sets expectations high and under-delivers on promises and its own deadlines. I don't blame you for being angry but thats just how this company operates wrt its shareholders. It also puts ii's first.
