covid bubble broke along time ago, indeed. What GDR investors need now is a new pandemic. Is that what we really want? I certainly don't, I'd prefer to lose my curretn investment than a new pandemic.

with sales it might go back to 80p. that would be almost 100% profit for new buyers at this price. But without sales we will fall off the cliff edge we are currently standing at due to a necessary share dilution of far less than current sp of 44p.

MR Deerhunter, Indeed, your initial investment was 100k. You now have 50k invested and hope it increases, at the very least to cover your current paper loss. But as we all know, if Mr Budd is spending more time negotiating with ii's wrt to a share dilution (probably 20-30p placing at a guess) rather than focussing on sales to raise the bank balance, then your current 50k investment my drop further. But then that's not why you are here, we are still holders because we believe in the products and that there is a demand for such products and GDR will turn a good profit. And why not? Covid is not going anywhere any time soon.

MrPunter, I've kept a stock to the "bitter end". I took a very nice profit on the stock and it fell. But then I bought back in at what I thought was a fair price. Unfortunately , the price kept falling. My buy back in investment of 5k is now worth less than £100. I've still not sold it as the appearance of that stock in my portfolio serves as a £4900 lesson!

However, GDR is a covid play and covid is simmering everywhere . My real concern is Mr Budd. Yet stubbornly, I refuse to believe Mr Budd and more importantly, GDRs products, are as bad as the sales figures suggest. Which is why I've not sold at a loss... yet!

Deerhunter, You don't have a 100k investment at the moment, it's now a 50k investment, unfortunately. I hope you regain your losses and even make profit but don't pretend that you still have a 100k investment. It's like saying someone has a 1mil investment at an average of 1000p, it's a completely false statement.

I'm sitting on a similar loss for this year having wiped out my gains by jumping in at 120p, my investment in GDR is still the same number of shares though, they are just worth alot less.

MrTricky, the post you are pertaining to was simply one question to MrAllah regarding his post in quotation marks. In other words, I was replying to MrAllahs post, it was his link and his comments. Not mine. I know reading can be difficult on a computer screen and quotes are easily missed.

The header is self-explanatory. Only the PCR tests which have NOT been CE marked are required to undergo additional evaluation through a state laboratory. The products which have indeed received the CE mark can be directly commercialised.

If you are correct, and I hope you are, then GDR need to improve their marketing and also make sure the software and process is in place to share results with official IT systems, in order that QR codes or whatever is used can be generated and used to access many places.

Nasal swabs are unpleasant. I had the last one last weekend, I left the test centre sneezing for 5 minutes with everyone looking at me. they were quite rightly very concerned for their own health. The test was negative though they didn't know that of course, besides it was one of those cheap inaccurate tests.

I think

1. nasal swab - I thought the POC would be based on saliva samples. I think kids are getting sick of being swabbed. I know I am (I've had 4 swabs so far and the experience is onyl getting more unpleasant).
2. potential lack of connectivity to official network (please correct me if I'm wrong!). Results from the POC need to be automatically shared with the official central IT systems that would then officially recognize someone as having been tested, a negative test would allowing entry to places and countries for a certain period of time, not just their classroom.

I don't care much for football but I think there is a far greater chance of England winning the European Championship than GDR making a profit on its covid products. My view on the POC kit, having watched the demo is not good. At least two major design issues, as I see it.

This RNS did need releasing as Budd promised the POC deadline (ce certified and sellable) of Q1 would be extended to end of Q2. He's not met that target either, as I feared. He says certification and sales will come after end of Q3. And then there is the product itself which looks like a very expensive antigen test from Lidl. I've emailed GDR with my simple questions regarding the product.

Yes. I first said as much a year ago, yet still no sales. Its as if mr budd has no faith in his own products. And where is the news of the poc. By his own admission, it shouldve ce stamp now albeit 1 quarter later than first promised.

Yes. the first rise 45-70p was due to insider information, obviously not technically insider information - its just that not everyone at beckmann or GDR have to sign insider agreements, neither are a financial institution.

Then I think the sp fell back to approx 60p before news officially broke about the commerical agreement with Beckmann and the SP went further north. and then back down to 45p again when no news regarding sales is forthcoming. And now its risen shaprly based on nothing, so surely a positive RNS is imminent again.
