The chance is very small that GDR have been 'secretly killing it' and this is reflected in the consistently falling SP. GDR's SP migrate south for the summer, traditionally. It will return North in the autumn when the next covid scare hits the world. GDR investors are the most miserable bunch of investors on earth as they can't wait for more variants and waves to pick up their spirits.

The header is self-explanatory. Only the PCR tests which have NOT been CE marked are required to undergo additional evaluation through a state laboratory. The products which have indeed received the CE mark can be directly commercialised.

At the next statutory RNS I suspect they will state that there are no sales but GDR are being considered for a large contract with an indian company. I suspect they will not tell us GDR did not win the possible contract with a european country. They need a high SP because without signficant sales Mr Budd will take his cap to the ii's again, before the year is out.

I think there will be another delay, I'm afraid. What I've learned in GDR's case is that no news is bad news. Good news is released immediately. Updates regarding a lack of progress, miss deadlines, lack of contract, lck of sales sales etc are left for statutory RNS's.

Mr Budd admitted in the last RNS that they do not have a sales team, which is why Beckmann is such a great hope. I've learned over the last year or so that Mr Budd and his senior colleagues are well out of their depth as directors etc of a listed company. GDR jumped on the covid bandwagon like so many other companies, yet GDR made alot of mistakes and wouldnt admit to them until this year. I think the next RNS/presentation may contain even more admissions of mistakes, just like the last one. Perhaps the people with inside knowledge of the state of play wrt GDR's covid products are jumping ship now. Why else would the SP fall so dramatically without news?

My post is basically an admission of my own gullibility and that I believed too much in GDR.

Like many investors, I'm concerned about GDR's RNS's eg regarding POC delivery date that wasn't met & confidence regarding sales in India, that so far have not materialized. I wonder how much 'hope information' can legally be written in an RNS. Surely a company has to be honest and their hopes are realistic and not pipe dreams? I hope I'm wrong to be concerned of course, as I am invested in GDR.

Cummings claimed it should have been possible to have testing of about 5m a day available by the first week of September.

Someone posted an email from GDR staff regarding the reason for the delay - it said something along the lines of unexpected external influences being the reason for the delay, I can't remember exactly but the staff member suggested external parties not being able to live up to agreements, at least that's how I read it. Mr Budd said they are still improving the product and that was shortly after I'd read an article reading scientific kits being incredibly reliant on high quality graded products. Which is why I put two and two together: "I believe" ....the POC kit is reliant on quality grade base products that unfortunately may not being delivered to the quality specifications agreed upon. It'll be great if the self-imposed Q2 expectation is met, but I'm not holding my breath as self-imposed deadlines have been passed many , many times before.

From the RNS's and comments in emails from GDR staff published, I believe the POC is not consistent enough to achieve approval or commercial success at thte moment. They mentioned that POC delay was out of their hands and to me that suggests that the quality of the products used in the POC kit is not consistent enough to produce the high quality results they got during their initial research. I believe the consistently high quality of chemical/ ingredients in such kits are incredibly important in gaining accurate results. A lack of quality by external companies supplying GDR would account for the woeful delay, I recall an email that said it was something external to GDR that was causing the delay.

Unfortunately , yes.

Mr Budd, I hope you realize your reputation will be left in tatters without a significant covid contract in India. You can't hide behind lack of approvals or a lack of demand now. I read you stated that GDR were too expensive in the last RNS but that doesn't wash either. You can't cover you back with comments like that when youve already said the margin of the pellet is 60% and there was plenty of room to drop the price in order to win contracts.

Yes. If I was CEO of a covid testing company that hasn't sold any covid tests since it gained first approval (friends and family excepted), I would've flown to India to help Divoc upon hearing that approval had been given.
