I believe the european opportunity is for the POC, in which case the opportunity still exists. I think Ann Dunphy confirmed this recently too in an email shared on this board. She politely said all opportunities previously mentioned in RNS' are still on the table .

I agree. Mr Star mentioned this one a while ago (assuming no new RNS will appear and there is no insider trading taking place). BGF may have sold the extra shares they started to convert in november. Without that downward pressure on the sp, normal service has resumed...

... or a good RNS is afoot.

I believe it was Mr Star who remarked that BGF usually held an investment of 6%. Perhaps he's right and BGF have stopped selling, hence the return 50+p

Perhaps now BGF are back at 6%, they've stopped dumping stock and this explains the return to a range around 55p (which I believe the sp was at before BGF began dumping 8 million worth of stock.)

Mr Budd, I want you to publish the POC preliminary results & announce a commercial agreement with BC. Now please get on with it.

The POC test kit would be revolutionary - a portable pcr laboratory that should produce a result as accurate and sensitive as any PCR test within minutes and at the touch of a button? The implications cannot be under-estimated, I believe.

In a loss making situation, having ignored any stop loss, I ask myself "would I buy at the current price knowing what I've learned and under the current circumstances"?
If the answer is no, then I'd sell, take the loss and consider my loss the cost of a lesson in investment. If the answer is yes, then I'll try to prepare myself to expect the worse (lose it all) and wait/hope .

Mr Budd has only sold unfulfilled expectations and cheap placements in the last 10 months. Umfortunately for pi's, he's very very good at it!

Perhaps Mr Preefty's chart was upside down when he read it.

Pessimists believe that covid testing will be here for a very long time and test strategies and products need maturing, which leaves the door of opportunity open to GDR.

Optimists think that covid vaccines will work and herd immunity will be reached before autumn. Optimists invest in recovery stocks.

It's a strange situation but GDR rampers are pessimists in real life as they believe covid and mass testing is here to stay! Conversely, GDR derampers are optimists in real life who believe the world will recover from Covid through vaccination!

GDR is again hoping to have some good news to share with the huge number of disappointment investors, before or during the march 2021 publication of the truly awful results up to 31st dec 2020. Fingers crossed that Mr Budd go against genedrive tradition and clinch a meaningful contract.

GDR will come good at some point, but what will the share price be when the turning point is reached? And how high will the sp go? No-one knows. But we do know ii's have been taking profit for the last 7 months and DB hasn't purchased stock since the sp was alot lower than it is now.

yes Mr Star, fully agree. IMO, the "european" country advanced tender/discussions will undoubtedly be about the POC device and not the pointless pellet , that requires more effort to install than it's worth. Unfortunately, it now appears that we have delays regarding the POC (see email response from Anna Dunphy - thanks to Mr Knight).

I'm sure they will. The questions is whether BC will be trying to sell tests that use GDRs pellet when there isn't even a commercial agreement with GDR and as many have posted one here, BC appear to be pushing a differnet type of test.

I know how I expect Mr Budd will take his bonus, in cash. However, if he accepts shares it may strengthen the sp (good for BGF and any other ii wishing to off-load this year).
