For once in my life I will stick up for Bird on this one. He's already stated several times that he has carried out due dilligence; been in touch with govenment authorities and is content all is above board. He has also stated that he intends to use local human resource to work on the project. This is the crux of what Lungu wants, he wants the mine working to provide jobs to the locals!

Just to keep balance: Bird! What happened to crqaxcking on with processing the 'low hanging fruit' at Manica? - What happened to starting 'hand sorting' of ore @ Kalengwa? Still nothing meaningful happing in terms of us actually becoming a company that makes money !!! - Still you continue to miss, your own imposed, deliverables! - Useless, Bird, Useless!

A4444 - With reference to you comments regarding what CB has said about Nelson.

I've had some communication with Nelson whilst drafting my letter of no confidence to Bird (Still not sent BTW) and would say there are two sides to a story. It's easy for Bird to place blame on someone that no longer has a platform to defend themselves. And let's face it.. things have not exactly gone the way Bird has predicted either!

Nelson's side of the story is interesting - In one email He told me that CB had undermined him with regards to decisions he made; one of them being the sacking of CFO, Joel Silberstein (for poor financial control) and the COO, Eduard Victor for poor performance at Chepica. I plan to ask Bird about this at the AGM. He also suggests we request a Forensic to determine where the cash raised has gone to!

One could draw similarities in the mistakes made at Chepica with the mistakes being made at Manica especially considering the people in charge, for the most part, remain the same...

I'm sorry CB, and whilst I respect your opinion I find you 'patience, patience' line rather patronising.

So you've sat down with Bird, as you did last year, and he's once again sold you some rousing speech worthy of Caesar - It appears you've fallen for it...As you did last year. We shall see how these new predictions pan out however, 'Fool me once' springs to mind.

For me, nothing has changed and I'd be happy to see the back of Mr Bird and his 'plans'

You seemed to have been convinced by Bird somewhat, are you not at all dubious after what he told you last year?. Did you call him out with reference to the lines he sold you last year, this amazing news that never materialised? It seems to me he'll say whatever in order to escape F2F meetings without receiving an ear bashing!

I do hope he has a deal sorted before the AGM, I plan on being there and do not intend to hang on his every word!

This along with the fact he, essentially, treats his numerous directorships as an investment portfolio rather than a job in which he has a responsibility to shareholders and a wish to be part of a company he can grow and be proud of...... I wonder how you could think this move is anything more than pure self interest!

Completely agree re: issue with Omnia LW. The old fool Bird went quiet on us regarding the problems Moz were having even though he'd promised transparency.

I have a feeling the same will happen with Omnia, they've already bailed on us once after all!

My thinking is the 'base' plant (prewash, shaker or trammel) for alluvials is pretty much the same anyway? - It's just the sluicing part that would be different as the density/particle sizes are obviously not the same.....
