I've been here around the same time as you TBH, what a nightmare. I bought in as it looked a great little project and the BoD looked, on paper, to have very good track records, should be enough to buy in but what a lesson it's been!

For the record, I really don't think/expect there is an offer on the table. I've listened to Birds latest podacast several time and believe he's taking about presenting us with a report detailing a way forward for the copper play/s

Happy to be wrong for sure....A sale, subsequent divvi and SP increase would be most cathartic!

He still refers to Mutapa Mining as our partners and discusses the hard rock project taking over from the alluvial's once they are exhausted. Don't see why he would do that if the plan is to flog the asset.

I'm assuming the 'as well as detailed report' alludes to the alluvial copper play. He mentions, I don't recall which interview, that they have a plan of action in place but it was not pertinent to discuss it without all shareholders being made privy

No mention of further drill results, for sure they have been assessed by now? - One can only assume the rest were shabby and not worth mention?

Sad to say I'd settle for 5p now. I had high hopes the Manica project would turn out to be a nice little project but now I'm just tired of this share and CBs ways.

Clearly he's had succsess in the past and he does have good contacts, sadly It seems he just doesn;t have the energy/lust to follow through...What is just a retirement hobby to him is a serious investment to many of us.

Agreed, we've not been getting anything like we thought (we were told)we would from the Alluvials anyway so it wouldn't be the end of the world if Sino left. I imagine they weren't too chuffed when Bird stopped them just going for just the high grade regions and that's certainly affected results. Bad grades and Sino leaving, is it really worth holding that info from us?

If there has been an offer put in for FB, whixh I don;t think there has been, then the comapny would not be able to release news . In terms of Manica at least.

I put it down to Bird keeping it transparent and open as he promised.....One thing you can say about Bird, he's consistant!

I'd persoanlly rather he didn't taint good news with 'bad', especially as most of us are not expecing the alluvial recovery to spectacular.

IDD Scrat - I'm, no doubt misreading the situation however, we had a very similar occurance at MARL (anyone recall them?) . The DFS was super late and really lacked detail, the next thing we know a deal had been struck for the comany with Sandstorm.....
