ADVFN has gone the way of this BB. Three or four posters having william waving contests and 'trigger' Dave popping up now and then to cast doom n gloom over the SP. Not worth a look now that KS has gone, unlike here!
Robleo, sidi - you are not alone!
Kat - I have a cousin who lives in Prato (greater Florence/Firenze for those who don't know) and she has been laughing about the 'coverage' I've been sending her of extreme temperatures there. But she's not the BBC is she!
Kat - I filtered Q some years ago but it appears from other posters comments on here that he has history when it comes to providing evidence of his assertions. I remember him saying that he is dyslexic, which may perhaps have some bearing on what he understands he has learned, or perhaps he uses that as his 'get out'.
Out of interest I tried to work out where his 'nom de plume' came from (a game I play to relieve the boredom and perhaps gain an insight on poster's ids) but the only thing I could find is that Quady is slang noun for 'A pointless human, without the ability to use their limbs from the neck down yet still possessing the ability to create a financial vaccuum to their family and the community in which they live (if that's how you want to refer to it).' Perhaps!
Just wondering, my reading of the RNS suggests that SOLG have the right to progress Cascabel, rather than the right being attached to the site itself or EMRA. This to me would imply only an outright sale of SOLG (with or without a spinoff of other sites) or a JV (or for Q's sake taken to production) rather than a sale of Cascabel only being possible in the future.
What do we reckon? Sensible answers only please – I have had the muppets greened out for ages so I cant see anything from them.
BPHIL - re your 030623 - 02:06 :- '20 green lines. A new record ! :)'.
I had only 70% or so of that amount and it made me realise that I wasn't being too judgemental, rather that I was giving a couple on here too much slack. Ditched two more (and deservedly so) but still only up to 19. It then became obvious how you made it up to 20.
Imagine what these BBs would be like if the thought police on here removed the Filter button! Can't see it being long before all of the informative posters abandon this site.
Your problem LSE.
How will you deal with it?
AgArCu – I note your recent post and indeed the many others (66 at the last count) over the last 3 months, all on the SOLG BB and had pause to think about them. When talking purely about the current state of SOLG, you fall quite short on facts other than that there hasn't been a buyer for the company or it's assets. Er, I think we all here know that. The rest of your prose (vast majority!) seems to be ridiculing other posters for their points of view, making unsubstantiated claims about your scientific prowess (3 chemical symbols in a nom de plume doesn't hack it for me) or showing your aversion to the use of elipses, and as you don't seem to engender much appreciation here, I'm left wondering why you post so much vitriol so often? Surely you can find some other way to give yourself pleasure?
Sad really!
I believe there used to be a bus service 'darn sarf' that was called the 'Green Line'. It must have passed through the site since I last logged on since I can see little else on here!
Who are worse - the disruptors or the moderators?
Anyway, exciting day today. Can Sunderland continue their assault on the playoffs and Durham on the 2nd Division Championship? All will be revealed by cop !
As many here have noticed, some posters appear to have preferred status in that they seem able to have whole streams deleted whilst enjoying free reign to post whatever rubbish/offence they wish, yet the moderators ignore any protests condemning this. It isn't only this BB, but one can see it happening on other LSE BBs.
LSE currently have a 'performance survey' available, accessible within Members Tools (repetition?) which, whilst mainly tickboxes, provides opportunity near the end to comment on any matters which need attention by LSE to improve their BBs. Can't say if it will work but one hopes that any comments will be read and not deleted because they upset teacher's pet.
1981Investor - You post a lot, but contribute little that is constructive to this board, merely multiple daily doses of bile and demands as to how others should post.
I began to wonder what the purpose of the 1981 in your nom de plume was. Hoping it wasn't anything as mundane as your birthyear, I did a little research and I do believe I've found it. You celebrate the year that ' Little Miss Bossy', the first book in the Little Miss series (of the female versions of Mr. Men) is first published!
Speaks volumes... :-)
Just wondering if those who say they would take first offer of 30 - 40p would actually throw in the towel there and then! Whilst it may sound attractive down here in the gutter, surely it would make sense to hang on in for a while and see if other bids were forthcoming, if not to lift us to the stars, then at least back onto the pavement?
