Q1 - possibly.
Q2 - don't know.
Q3 - possibly.
Best I can do mate! Looks like the neighbours are setting up for a barbie later. They haven't asked me round so looks like I'll have to get the noisy mower out for when they start and forget to turn it off while I come inside to watch the footy and have a few beers. Oh the joys of springtime!
' abrdn intends to return the net proceeds of the Placing to shareholders, with the method and timing of the return to be announced as soon as practicable after the Company's results on 1 March.'
Tick, tock!
Is it possible that they are waiting for the II acquisition to complete which isn't expected until June?
This share reminds me of a swallow - spends a lot of time heading south!
johnnygreenfeet - There we have it folks! Johnny thinks the reason we should have remained in the EU was so that some of us could still pop over to France and stock up on cheap booze and fags!
And he should go see a doctor about his feet!
Wanderington - 'Frankly, I'm fed up with Brexiteers moaning about anyone who has a different view to theirs. Move on!'
Wrong!
Brexiteers challenge the Remainers who still moan about anyone who has a different view to theirs. Get your facts right first then move along please!
Highveld - re your 22:43 - 'Struggling with the positives at the moment. Putin has turned the clock back 70 years and here at home we have a disastrously dysfunctional set-up ( you can't take a country that elects Rees-Mogg and has an heir to the throne who runs his Aston Martin on wine and cheese seriously). Whole place only hanging together because of unsung NHS heroes, some quality universities , great scientists and innovators , superb intellectual heritage, great arts scene and everyday folk plodding on.'
Not quite right! Try this :-
Some of the positives at the moment. While dysfunctional Putin tries to turn the clock back 70 years, we in the UK have a functional and modern setup. We enjoy a democratic system that allows us to elect Jacob Rees-Mogg on the one hand and Jeremy Corbyn or Diane Abbott on the other. We have an off the planet heir to the throne who's nod to the silly green agenda is to run his Aston Martin on wine and cheese whilst our reigning Monarch, who has impeccably served her country and it's people for 70 years is much admired and envied throughout most of the civilised world. Meanwhile, the country benefits greatly from unsung NHS heroes, some quality universities , great scientists and innovators , superb intellectual heritage, great arts scene etc, etc, and of course, everyday folk plodding on despite the many brickbats thrown at them by envious do-no-gooders, who try to deny any of the benefits which this country and it's people have given the world. Not that the world has been gracious enough to thank them for! (Think - 'what have the Romans done for us?')
As a stand alone mine, the grades at Tandy aren't exceptional, but surely because of it's proximity to Cascabel, the Capex requirements for Tandy are covered in the PFS for Cascabel. The resource therefore comes pretty darn cheap!
Onwards and upwards and please somebody buy the whole lot. I've got lots to tick off my bucket list!
Wayne - PFS on 20th and takeover on 21st.' In your world perhaps! (geddit!)
Hope it is though, depending on price of course, then we can get down to a real discussion - yachts!
Oh, and Mr Q can talk production on some other board.
Bozi - 'Novice - anonymity does not give you the right to say what you want without consequences.
The social media companies are slowly cottoning on to this.'
The social media companies only exist with the acquiescence of whosoever's heel they operate under and enact censorship according to their instruction!
You often seem like 'an innocent abroad', but in your own country.
Lunch - come on mate! That article is 18 months old and refers to rock chip samples. Castillo can't decide if they're looking for copper or lithium while the BOD keep taking their salaries and talking of jam tomorrow! Just my opinion of course. DYOR
Q4 div depends on full year less previous 3 quarters. APF have had a good year, expect a Q4 div in excess of 1.75p and a modest increase in quarterly dividends thereafter. Please, please no buybacks, you must have better ideas than that, don't you?
Well said LL!
PS - where you hiding?
Sotolo - another two valuable posts today. Rarely appreciated but invariably accurate. Having been in and out of CEY (though not a trader) in recent years and having managed to get out PDQ with comforting profits when the wall problem became apparent, I now feel that CEY is more than well worth a medium/long term investment at this price. Like many of you, I wish Horgan did also.
BBC reports that the sum owed had been paid into a court by UK after losing the case, but the money was not able to be released by the court because of an embargo on trade with Iran by EU. Chose for yourselves what you believe but when differing groups are claiming credit or virtue signalling from an unholy mess, you should stop to think. Also, if you want to go to Iran, we haven't another £400m to bargain for your release if you fall foul. Stupidity abounds!
"disgraced oligarch Roman Abramovich" - How/why is he disgraced?
Bonkers - the London biased MSM has always shown him in a very favourable light for whatever their reasons, despite the origins of 'his' wealth being widely known, . I can understand you questioning whether he is disgraced, but then you are bonkers.
