Current production c 1450 boepd. ASH4 adds 371 and AJ-14 expected to add 300.
That’s c 1900 going into 2023 after allowing for 10% decline.

At $90 a barrel that gives c $20.5M revenue, $10M net profit, or c £8.5M.

At a PE of 10 that’s a sp of 13.2p, or 550% from here.

So to your mind the hydrogen project is moving too slow?!?!

You seem to have no idea what goes into a project like this before construction starts.

I for one am very happy with the pace of progress on the hydrogen project.

We are in the process of closing the financial arrangements.
Hopefully be done by mid-2023.
It could well be that we will soon have enough finance from the banks to avoid further dilution.
Can we manage with the cash we have until then is the question.

As you can see, the capital expenditure was planned for this year precisely in order to increase production next year. Things are going to plan.

Natural decline is normal. Obviously the more oil you take out of the ground the less that is left in the ground so the rate of extraction becomes slower as the resource diminishes. This is not a complicated or unusual phenomenon. Success at ASH4 would be massive for the company. If boepd rates gets back to around 2500 at current oil prices we should see the sp getting higher than it has ever been.

10p would be a c £300M market cap.
That would value the hydrogen project (ignoring the huge potential of Thar and the gold) at just £1Bn.
It will in time be worth a heck of a lot more than that IMO.

Kaeren, I'm looking at note 20 of the interims.
Again, I'm a bit hazy so please do correct me if i'm wrong, as I'm not trying to be annoying just trying to clarify.
I've capitalised the two main words.

It says there "On 25 April 2022, legal proceedings were issued by the DHSC to the Group for AMOUNTS PAID to Novacyt
totalling £134,635,000 (including VAT)"

So, I'm reading this right, if NCYT loses the case, they have to return £134.6M that was already paid.

But if they win, they will be paid the £24M owed for 2020, plus £49M for 2021 ie £73M, and possibly the counterclaim of £81M too.

Am i missing something?

I'm a bit hazy on the detail having not looked in for a while.
I thought NCYT had been paid most of the money that was then disputed.
So, it's not that if NCYT wins they gets loads more cash, it's that if NCYT loses, they have to pay back the cash.
Or am I misremembering?

At this market cap "the market" is PIs only. IIs don't invest in such small mcaps.

So I wouldn't let "the market" tell you what this company is worth.
