I think some people think the Sheikh paid a 1000% premium. Not so.

Washers, the cancellation of the Q&A is clearly because NM's too busy doing something else. We don't know if it's got anything to do with today's RNS so I wouldn't read anything into the timing. I'm happy enough to know that she's working hard on one of our 3 projects that day.

Please can we be clear,

Both the Sheikh and ourselves (Oracle Power) have advanced money at 10 ****stani Rupees per share IN THE JV COMPANY (Oracle Energy).

Nobody has bought shares in ORCP at 4p a share. That is not what has happened.

This has no bearing on what our shares are valued at, only what the shares of the JV company are valued at. The JV company being a company with its own share capital which is not related to us at all, except that we own 30% of the subsidiary company's shares.

The money was paid for the subsidiary company, not for ORCP itself. It's not that they bought our shares for 4p each.

It's definitely positive in that things are being progressed, but the suggestion being made here is wrong.

Definitely a good sign IMO.

Still a great buy.
Less than £10M for a company with assets worth several billions (albeit not all to ORCP).
I think we'll see 50 bags within 5 years, maybe more.

This has come up many times with shares with low mcaps but good assets.
The idea is always floated that we'd get bought out.
We won't.
It's actually very hard to achieve a hostile takeover and the BoD clearly have no desire to sell now.
For me personally, someone would have to offer well over £100M for me to be even remotely interested.
Otherwise, just stay the course, we'll get there on our own.
I believe we've made c £1.8M net profit in Q2. That's £7.2M for the year. At a fair PE of 15 we would be at £100M from Egypt alone.
Markets are terrible right now.
The markets are killing off dead wood.
When things improve, it will be companies like ours that bounce back fastest and furthest.

TFC can easily be worth £30M.

Yes this has taken too long.
But if first IM does happen within the next 5 weeks as promised,
The sp will see a very sharp rise. Not 20-30% and not a spike. An actual rerate.

The only reason we've drifted here is that people don't believe AZ any more.
OK. Fair enough.
But he has a lot to gain from getting this done right
And very little to gain from false pumping.

And what's the downside?
Our downside is covered by TFC.
This very clearly has asymmetric risk/reward.

Always gives confidence when others do the maths and get the same answer.

That's true but not all 4 projects were of equal value or potential. Not by a long shot. By far the smallest project is now dead. In fact, JE was always so small compared to Thar that its death is not even material to our value as a company IMO.

Our market cap did not increase when we were awarded JE or NZ, which suggests the market did not value them at all. When JE is declared dead, does Thar suddenly become worth 10% less? Of course not.

Added to this is the possibility within the RNS of getting 2.5+Moz of gold at NZ. That's worth a fair bit.

That's why myself and others consider yesterday's sp reaction to be ridiculous.

As discussed before, the accounts have to be published by the end of June. The AGM has to be 21 or more days after that.

The AGM also has to be before the end of June, but they can easily apply for an extension of up to 3 months when the accounts are delayed.

It's really not that complicated.

An incomprehensible reaction.
We drilled two areas and got one good result from the two.
For an exploration company that's pretty good.
News is good. SP reaction is bad.
Too many people confuse these two separate things. Don't look at the SP to decide if the news is good or not. Read it properly yourself and make your own mind up.
