Catty, what you just copied and pasted is about late filing of accounts, not about the AGM.
Accounts must be filed by the end of June, which the company said it would.
The company can get an extension for the AGM deadline.

All they need is to submit a GNL-1 form and Bob's your uncle.

Does the market not realise that based on current production alone, given O&G prices, we're making c £6M+ net profit this year, giving us a PE of just over 2.
That's without the profits from divestments.
Plus we have Maria, Jamaica and very likely an acquisition soon.
Even if this was a duster, which it is not, we are still stupidly undervalued and the prices should be going up not down.
Which it will, in time. I'm quite certain of that.

This is where PIs have a huge edge over idiots and IIs.
The market can be crazy for long periods of time.
But ultimately it's earnings that drives the share price long term.
Only idiots keep harping on about the share price like it's a problem.
It's not a problem, it's an opportunity.
With patience to watch the EPS grow each year for several years, even if the sp doesn't react right away, I have no doubt that PIs will be rewarded.
Idiots look at the share price to judge performance.
Smart investors look at the business performance.

Brian and the team are in Jamaica, where we have an absolutely massive asset which is very much in demand, especially by the US.

I wouldn't want to be out when the Jamaica news lands.
I have no idea how long it might take.
But I want to be holding shares when it happens.

The CEO cannot control the share price.
And that's not his job.
His job is to grow the company.
And that is very clearly happening.
Earnings per share jumped from 0.15p to 0.64p last year. That's incredible.
You guys are not giving him enough credit.
He's doing an outstanding job and the share price will follow in time.
Stop fixating on the share price, and look at how the business is developing.

Peter Dunne is joining from Boru Energy. Boru Energy’s chairman is Aidan Heavey, the founder of Tullow Oil, where Brian Larkin used to work.

Boru Energy’s CEO is Tom Hickey, who was the CFO of Tullow Oil for 8 years. He is also a director of UOG. Tom went on to take the CFO role at Petroceltic International, where our new man Peter worked alongside him.

After Petroceltic, Peter was CFO of Origin Enterprises, with a market cap of c £390M.

It's a very good appointment imo.
