Worth saying also, M&S operate a substantial number of stores in Russia - are they being penalized for that? Are they being fined? Sanctioned? threatened with delisting? No, they are not. It's business as usual. There's no difference between what M&S are doing in Russia and what Evraz is doing in Russia. Both are BRITISH companies that just happen to have operations/interests in Russia.

Going by fundamentals, the share price should be sat at £5 to £7
60p is in 10 bagger territory - the first signs the conflict may be over and this will rocket, no doubt about that at all.

The FTSE is too valuable to them - they won't choose to delist and they can't be forced to delist. Demotion to the FTSE 250 is normal when Mcap falls below the required threshold, it's to be expected and no big deal. They won't even entertain the idea of going private - their eye will be on returning to the FTSE 100 as soon as possible.

The price is telling you the market is acting irrationally. Evraz is a high quality business with strong fundamentals that's currently sat at a ridiculously low price. You're investing in the business at the end of the day. When the conflict is over, Evraz will still be the same high quality business that it was before the conflict began.

I managed to buy a grand's worth @ 66p average, it's just a punt for me, will definitely consider adding more at the first signs the conflict will soon be over.

From the 60s, a full recovery back to where it was a few weeks ago before the conflict began would be a rise of 900% to 1000%

An absolute sh*t storm going on at Evraz. Started off up 20% now it's down over 25% and still falling, it just isn't safe to dabble atm unless you're watching it like a hawk, stop losses are useless as you rarely get anywhere near the figure you set, it's better to watch and wait imo. The first sign the crisis may be coming to an end will be the ideal time to pile in. Until then it's just too much of a risk considering the magnitude of what's going on.

Don't try to predict the bottom on this, anything is possible while this conflict is raging. Putin's nuclear threats and western leaders dialling up the rhetoric is making the markets extremely nervous. And at the moment it's hard to see where it all might end. Apparently there's talks going on today, one can only hope for a breakthrough asap before this sh*t really gets out of hand.
