Safy - Has anyone actually tried to buy some of the tests? I'm not suggesting we all spam the company contact page, but one thing stands out to me if Sysmex are the European distributor why is Genedrive barely mentioned on their website and there is no reference to the SARS-CoV-2 assay.

FYI I have just made a genuine enquiry to purchase a number of tests for my company I will let you know how I get on and how quickly they can fulfill my order.

So to follow up on what Rich and most have already sussed I'm of the opinion that PI's are responsible for the majority of odd number trades for example 32,429 possibly a PI 445 definitely a PI.

This morning there have been at least 10 x 25k round chunks and a smattering of 10k, 15k and 50k round chunks.

July is shaping up nicely, nothing seems to hold it's gains currently though.

Out of interest how many people here invest in round numbers of shares i.e. trade in blocks of 1k 5k 10k etc vs how many buy as many shares as they can for the amount of cash they have to invest i.e invest in round numbers of cash £1k?

For what it's worth I think this board is one of the best certainly for the Covid stock. We have a mixture of optimism, pessimism some cracking research and science both SNG related and the wider picture.

And when the obvious trolls arrive they are easily distinguishable from the genuine investors.

We are approaching a major event in the companies history we should enjoy the build up together, if it goes tits up at least we can relate to each others misfortunes, if we get the news we all wish for we could be popping the champagne together.

Chrishar - It's funny how certain topics seem to stick to certain boards NCYT obsessed with a takeover that will never happen. Here we got tied up with II's offloading which was true for a while but then was probably wishful thinking for faded sentiment.

Likely less than a month till news now hopefully we can look back and smile on all this when they drop.

Simmo - Agreed I posted a while back to a similar effect there was this 8 Week figure here and on ADVFN which was being thrown around for the life of me I cannot now find the source of this, but I was certainly guilty at one point of referencing it.

Often as Pi's we set our selves up for disappointment this isn't helped by the fact that we cling onto false positives far too easily. We spend more time fact checking the negatives than the positives.

If you read and listen the information put out by the company they only real delay was the slip from June to July and they did a bloody good job of getting Hospital wrapped up in that time frame, with what appears to be fairly strict trial entry requirements

A good set of hospital results and we are poised to pick up any momentum that a second wave might generate. I still think what they have achieved here in the time frame is remarkable.

Saint-tropez - Indeed add to that the furlough tap being turned off in October the effects of which will be felt earlier as companies will need to give advanced notice of redundancy. It’s one hell of rocky time for the economy ahead.

SNG is so painful at the moment like watching paint dry just when you think the price is about to catch a break you get kicked in the teeth by another II. Just gotta wait it out and hopefully get the news we all want.

The price action here has been a bit unjustified of late too I mean it when I say I hope we get a set of monthly's that blows the price out the park.

gggg21 - Completely agree what works in the lab is not always cut out for the real world.

How much reading have you done on the genedrive POC? I imagine the NCYT mobile testing will be very similar the GDR approach is saliva.

I personally think it’s a good sign that both companies are converging I doubt the scientists at both will be wrong.

I don’t see these lateral flow tests from other companies being available anytime soon or with the accuracy required to get us out of this mess.
