Musey - Interesting views so you think if a viable vaccine is found they would first test for presence of antibodies before administering?

This makes sense since I remember something similar for a vaccine I ended up not requiring as a child.

I wonder what costs more the vaccine or the test, I will mull that over.

Pilgrim - Well considering this was over 60p when I first contemplated I’m glad I’ve waited.

I guess I’m just not sold on the antibody requirements, based on info I have from friends in the NHS.

Might have a dabble Monday morning for a trade.

It’s a valid question and an opportunity to really sell me on why you think the antibody test market will be lucrative.

For the record no I don’t hold, neither am I trying to down talk to engineer an entry.

I do however concede that I may misunderstand the antibody test market and therefore might miss out on a good thing here which is why I have posed the question, since I assume there are knowledgable people here regarding the antibody test market.

Hi all great news for ODX seemingly a positive outcome to the antibody test trials.

I’m a bit confused though from an investment point of view, since there is no real evidence that the presence of antibodies prevents you from catching the virus for a second time, with some reports saying antibodies fade within 6months. How exactly does the antibody test help us other than for statistical purposes.

Personally I don’t care if I have had the virus or not since having had it provides me no benefit.

Or so I am led to believe.

What do people think is the likelihood of significant orders above the already agreed Government deal.

d200 - No Verona have already completed successful Phase 2 trials of their drug and have Phase 3 lined up to start later this year they are a few steps ahead but covid might accelerate us here.

Chrishar - I did indeed predict that and sadly for all of us this has not materialised.

The Acacia overhang has well and truly stiffled PI confidence it’s not a long term concern because good news will flush them out pretty quick.

But I’m no longer expecting any substantial share price movements in the run up to results better to be pessimistic, and every hint of a rise is being sold into.

The science hasn’t changed, the demand is very much still there and we are weeks away from a major event in the companies history.

Results could literally be any day now.

Rich - it’s not scaremongering It’s a legitimate discussion. After all the purpose of the trial is to prove safety and efficacy.

I think we are fairly confident the safety is good did they drop the dosage for Hospital on safety grounds to protect against cykotine storm or because they thought less was required for efficacy only SNG will know the rational behind the decision.

The trial Result will back them up one way or the other.

I agree with Chris It’s more reassuring that they have tweaked dosing rather than just duplicated COPd.

Chris - Agreed it was interesting to see the comparative dosing levels, regardless of type of IFN. Since everything else has been a much higher dose via SC or IV.

No one is questioning if SNG have got it right because obviously they have the experience. Equally it’s valid to suggest that the dosage may not be optimised for COVID since it is a carry over from COPD. This would have been a call that SNG made in order to progress quickly I trust they made the right call.

Rich - I have a fair few friends on the wards dotted around various NHS trusts. There’s hundreds of spare bed capacity currently at hospitals I posed the question does that meant that more services will begin to open up for more routine procedures.

Answer has unanimously been no, they are fearful of September onwards and want to keep the capacity free.

If SNG can prevent the need for hospitalisation it will be priceless.

Miggy - When I look at TILS I’m not thinking covid. I had a little flutter there purely for the stemprinter delisting might make a tidy return for very limited risk.

SNG is the hottest Covid play IMO.

DDDD is worth a punt for their pipeline of drugs.

If GDR drop further I will take a more serious stake there.

For now I’m firmly concentrating here the end game is upon us.

The ADVFN thread is a bit behind the times IMO but now that it’s behind closed doors you don’t get the wind up merchants which is a plus.

Chrishar - there is a risk with that approach too.

SNG have a tendency to release 7am RNS’s if we get a stinking RNS this will Gap up on open.

Alternatively they might have progressed so far down the licensing/funding route that shares are suspended on release of RNS whilst deals are finalised.

Who knows but I’d rather be in than watching waiting on the sidelines.

Hold - You seem to have timed this better than many you should be pleased with 39p as an average.

Crl - only a few weeks left and we will know either way. The not knowing is worse than knowing one way or another, emotions are running high here which suits the markets more than the Pi.

Miggy - Agreed but equally they also understand what would have been required to change dosing levels for the COVID trials and it would have meant significant delays safety assessments etc.

So the point stands it’s encouraging that the dosage used in the IFN-a2b trial seems to be fairly similar to what we have. Everything on IFN thus far has been a higher dose via IV or SC so I found it encouraging what Dr Fish was saying given the delivery method and dosage.

CW25 - That’s a question that the individual has to answer for themselves.

Personally I have a level of return I am trying to extract from SNG whereas others want to ride the full wave.

If my level is hit I’m happy and will wish everyone still on the journey the best of luck.

Takeover would be my ideal because it decides for us but I can see this going down the route of licensing which will bring the highest value long term.
